The BlackBerry Curve 8900 is now available at AT&T. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 is a new 3G-less GSM unit. The lack of 3G may put some people off, but it’s still not a bad handset overall. The main attraction will most likely be that it’s WiFi enabled.

Other features on the AT&T BlackBerry Curve 8900 include: a 3.2 megapixel camera with zoom, GPS, 2.4 inch display, Bluetooth 2.0, EDGE high speed data, full QWERTY keyboard, BlackBerry OS 4.7, microSD slot, 256 MB internal memory, BB browser, and of course email / IM / text messaging. As you can see, it’s a fully loaded smartphone. The QWERTY keyboard & trackball are exceptionally smooth and easy to use. Like I mentioned earlier, if you can live without 3G, this handset has a host of other features that make it well worth the $199.99 price tag (after rebates & 2 year agreement).
