Motorola ClutchMy Motorola Clutch review: The Motorola Clutch is a brand new candybar style handset which runs on the iDEN network. It’s main attraction is the full QWERTY keyboard, so you know it’s geared towards the messaging crowd. It’s fairly well designed, and fits comfortably in the hand. The 1.8″ display is on the small side, but it does the job. It’s a 65k / TFT screen.

Feature-wise, the Motorola Clutch lands more on the “basic” side. The features include: 20 MB of built-in memory, GPS, Bluetooth 1.2, a .3 megapixel VGA camera, a video player, predictive text input & of course the full QWERTY keyboard.

Bottom Line: The Motorola Clutch will make a wonderful messaging phone, with its full QWERTY keyboard & messaging-centric design. Other features on the handset are only so-so, which may not be a big deal to most people. However, if messaging isn’t your thing, there are other phones available which may be better suited for you.
