engadget says:
“As we’ve seen countless times by now, the folks behind the Commodore brand will stop at nothing to keep the venerable name alive, and they’ve now finally hopped on the biggest bandwagon going, with the UMMD 8010/F marking the company’s first foray into the netbook game. Unfortunately, apart from that familiar logo, there’s not too much that stands out here, with the netbook packing a 10-inch screen, a 1.6GHz VIA C7-M processor, an 80GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, built-in WiFi, and optional Bluetooth. The nearly $600 price tag also doesn’t do it any favors, but we’re guessing there’s at least a few nostalgic folks out there that’ll add one to their Commodore collection as soon as they’re available.”
gottabemobile.com says:
“The UMMD 8010/F Netbook was shown off at IDF in Berlin. The specs include nothing spectacular: 10 inch screen, camera, 1.6Ghz C7–M CPU, 80GB HD, 1GB of RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth optional) and the price is a bit on the high side for NetBooks at around $600.”

“Here’s a blast from the past. Commodore, the company that very well may have made your first computer may be behind your next netbook. I mean, probably not, because, well, look at it. But still, it’s interesting to see Commodore alive and kicking.
The company unveiled the new UMMD 8010/F at the IFA show in Berlin. The computer has a 1.6GHz C7-M CPU, an 80GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, 802.11b/g WiFi and optional Bluetooth. It has a 10 inch display and a 1.3MP camera and prices will start at £325 or about $610. So umm yeah, can’t see any reason to buy this computer other than nostalgia. But still, it’s a Commodore!”
pocket-lint.co.uk says:
“The rather bland looking netbook, called the UMMD 8010/F will offer an 80GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM and the usual array of wireless connectivity in the form of 802.11b/g and Bluetooth, although the latter will be optional.
Opting to run the Via C7-M processor instead of Intel’s Atom 1.6GHz offering taken up by many other manufacturers, the netbook will come with the choice of Microsoft XP or GNU Linux operating systems. ”
