The Sprint LG LX290 is here. The Sprint LG LX290 is the newest slider phone to hit the carrier. Since it’s more of a “budget” handset, you can’t expect it to do everything. However, at just $29.99 after 2-year contract, this little handset does pack in quite a few features.

The Sprint LG LX290’s most prominent features include: GPS (Sprint Navigation), a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1, texting / IM, email, one-touch speakerphone, dedicated keys (text, email, alarm and calendar), T9 predictive text, slider keypad, 22 MB of memory, WAP 2.0 browser & cdma2000 1xRTT data connection. You’re not going to see any high-end features on this little handset, but it does cover all the basics. This really isn’t a bad starter phone for $30.
