World Of Warcraft Fishing Guide – Basic Version

This entry was posted by Saturday, 17 October, 2009

This is your basic World of Warcraft fishing guide.

Like the other professions, fishing requires learning from an instructor. Everyone can learn to catch fish to top up their knowledge, which isn’t the case with first professions for example mining and tailoring. Your leveling would be much improved if you buy a pole and some bait. When you are sure you have all you need go to some water and start fishing. In the majority of cases the fishing trainer is near the water, so you will not have to go too far. Nearly all bodies of water can be fished. It’s not possible to fish whilst swimming but you can be close to and even standing in the water. To start off with you need to equip your rod, if you’ll be using lures add one. Cast by going into your spell book and clicking on your fishing skill. You cast in the same direction you are looking in, so make small adjustments if it doesn’t land in water. If you are successful a channeling spell appears. Click a second time to reel in the fish. Continue as often as you need to.

World of Warcraft Fishing Guide – Requirements.

If your fishing skill is too low for the area that you are in you will only fish out junk. To catch usable fish move to a lower level zone, you’re much more likely to find success.

World of Warcraft Fishing Guide – Training/Leveling.

Fishing won’t require you to learn either recipes or spells the same as most other trades. Your nearest fishing coach will teach you it. Your skill is elevated by how many fish you can catch, that’s the only thing.  To begin with you’ll earn skill points for every single fish you catch. You must have usable fish to cook or sell so try to fish in all correct areas. You will be able to earn a 400 fishing skill in around 12 hrs.
