In terms of devices, we are getting more and more difficult to be impressed. However, while we surf around the internet for different stuff, we occasionally come across some really cool devices we just have to talk about.

If you even wanted to read that favorite Agatha Christie book at night but you husband was just complaining about you keeping the lights on when he’s trying to sleep, why not buy the MARK bookmark. During the day, you can use it like any other regular bookmark. During the night (or whenever you are in a dark room), this cool device uses Flexible Organic Light Emitting Diode (called FOLED technology) and it will glow to make your book pager readable. Other 2 products which you can use when the light run out because of that awful storm (and just when you were about to find out who killed the man on the Orient Express) are the LightWedge Mini and the LightWedge Paperback. The Paperback uses a lens that covers you book’s page and the light is emitted directly on the text. Not only is it useful, but it is also thin and easy so you can put in your bag or backpack and carry it around because the weight definitely won’t bother you. It uses 4 AAA batteries which can light your story for about 40 hours. The Mini has the same properties as the Paperback except that its size has been reduced. Adios to “turn off the lights; I wanna sleep” arguments because this little device is here to help.

This next gadget is a must have if your new girlfriend has finally agreed to have dinner at your place. This means you need to set up a romantic mood to really impress the girl. Aside from some candles, some Barry White CD’s and a good red wine bottle, you need this device that is bound to be a huge success. In the picture below you can see a very cute sofa that has beautiful flower imprints on it. What makes it so special you ask? Well, those flowers will have a blue color if you and the girl are sitting apart from each other. When you two are getting close together, the flowers change their color to pink. It’s a nice touch until you get bored of it an it’s perfectly usable if you are a girl who wants to set up a romantic atmosphere for her boyfriend on Valentine’s Day.

This is a device that made me laugh for about 10 minutes when I first saw it. They I imagined having one in my bedroom and suddenly I stopped laughing. The Hanging Noose lamp can provide you with some nightmares.  Now I think you have to be a weird gadget collector (or some kind of sadistic person) to buy one. Not only is it extremely expensive (about 4700 Euros) but it’s also very creepy and if you put in the living room you are bound to scare some guests (put in on the porch and it will definitely get you rid of unwanted sales men). I don’t recommend this for people that have seen too many horror movies and I surely don’t recommend you put it in the bedroom. Can you imagine having a nightmare and when you open your eyes you see a noose hanging from the ceiling? Brr…

If you have lots of money to spend and want to make your girlfriend happy, I found something that can’t go wrong. Are you prepared? Because it does cost $6400. The iDiamond Earphones are a super cool device meant for people that live a luxurious life. These earphones I made of 18 karat massive gold and they are covered in 204 diamonds. They are a nice addition to your iPod but they don’t produce $6400 high quality sound. They are just like normal earphones except they are about $6000 more expensive. But you will look like a queen with them. To be honest, I wouldn’t walk around on the street wearing gadgets that looks as expensive as it is but if you can afford those earphones, you can afford a car so you don’t have to walk. In fact, if you wear the iDiamond Earphones, you probably don’t need any earring because people won’t notice them anyway. They will be too busy staring at something else.

Last, but not least, here is something for all the heavy games that are reading our articles. The Logitech G5 Laser Mouse is something you have to invest in if you want to have a true quality gaming experience. This mouse is available for purchase at Amazon.com and it even comes with 3 years warranty. This is amazing! There are laptops that have a shorter warranty period than this mouse. Some of the features are the full speed USB, the dual thumb buttons and the in-game sensitivity switching. The image processing comes to an impressive 6.4 mega pixels per second and you can even adjust the weight balance with the special cartridges. It could also come in handy if you work in the graphics business because it offers great speed and control. In comes in a blue color with a sort of a cracked pattern which makes this mouse look like it came from the dinosaur’s age. It has 3 sensitivity levels, 400 dpi, 800 dpi, and 2000 dpi. Can you imagine how precise this mouse must be? The truth is that even with the 3 year warranty, this mouse is going to help you get the game play done for the next 5 years. May be a pricey investment but it’s better that buying other lousy mice (“mice” does sound funny, doesn’t it?) which have to be changed every year. Now you can be sure that the mouse won’t stand in the way of your relationship with the true gaming experience.
