Question by chelly s: How can I install my ipod into my car without spending a dime?
Hey guys, I have a ipod and all the songs i love are on it and i just am so tired of making cds of songs and its so hard to find where each cd is and what not, so i heard about hooking your ipod into your car. How can I hook it up without spending no money? I have a 2004 toyota sequoia and im pretty sure it has like a plug where i can hook my ipod up into the car but im not sure!! Sooo, what do i do to hook it up and if there is no way to hook it up without spending money than how much does it cost? THANKS!

I don’t think there’s a way to do it without spending any money, but I have an iPod too and for my car I have this connector. It’s just a cassette and it has a cord coming out of it that goes into your iPod where the headphones would go. It works for anything you can stick headphones in. I got mine at Wal Mart for ten dollars which is probably the cheapest approach but it works great.

We use an adapter that plugs into the lighter. You tune it to a dead radio signal, the ipod plays through that. For $30.00 it works great! Sometime we will have to change the channel if we are on line car rides but otherwise it works well.
