Quadrocopters reined in by Kinect leash, we feel safer already

Kinect controlled quadrocopter

It seems like the folks over at the Flying Machine Arena are finally starting to catch on — those quadrocopters are going to kill us all. Thankfully, after teaching them to juggle and tap out some tunes, the researchers came to their senses and put the flying machines on a Kinect-controlled leash. Instead of flitting about autonomously, the four-rotored nightmares are directed by a puppeteer waving his hands. Movement is controlled by the right hand, while raising the left one tells the copter to do a little flip for its master’s amusement, and a commanding clap makes it sit down like a good little pup. Best of all, if you don’t give it any arm-waving instruction it just hovers and waits until you tell it otherwise. On further consideration, maybe we haven’t been creating our own murderers, but a new man’s best friend — after all, they don’t eat much and can’t chew up your remotes. Check out the video after the break.

Vintage Car Business – When Choosing A Classic Car, Exactly What Do You Need To Look For?

Posted by on Sunday, 27 March, 2011

Most of the times I purchase a car, I try to keep everything really simple and to the point. I am a realistic guy, and I usually have practical needs in a car. I look at a car buyers manual and look at what I need. How much room do I need? Which car can last the longest? Which is probably the most likely to keep it’s value? Which one will get the best gas mileage? And then I make a decision.

When I got into antique car sales, nevertheless, everything got a whole lot more complicated. I have never been much of a collector. I am too sensible in my thinking. It is tough for me to get my head around the idea that something could be worth more because it is old. With most used cars, the opposite is true. Most used cars become significantly less valuable as they grow older, because used cars naturally become less dependable as they grow old.

My best friend, however, is an antique car dealer in California. He has invariably loved old classic cars, and also has been involved in the family business venture of buying and selling them since he was very young. As he proposed me a job in classic car sales, I could not really refuse. I was down on my fortune, and I required the money desperately. I did not really think about the fact that I would need to learn a new way of thinking about value.

As hard as it can be to promote used cars in general, making a classic car sale is that much harder. As you can see, to sell antique cars, you need to realise the minds of enthusiasts. Collectors are much more patient than most consumers. They may wait, many times for years, to find the perfect antique car sales to complete their collections. These people don’t want you to sell the car, they want to know that you appreciate it like they do. They will already know what to look for. My responsibility, as an antique car dealer, is to bond with them over precisely how beautiful these old classics happen to be. The cars will sell themselves.

It took me a while to really understand this fact. For the fist few months, I made far fewer antique car sales than I wanted to. My best friend was patient with me, however, and before long, I was thinking like a car collector. After that, the sales started racking up. Soon I was doing so much business which I could not remember what was difficult about it in the first place. I’ve even started to collect classic cars myself!

Bingo Sites Pay Those Who Play Smart

Posted by on Saturday, 29 January, 2011

Most of us know that we can play bingo right over the web these days, but it is a good idea to learn more if you want to win big. It is not at all difficult to find out the ways by which you can help yourself win more, either. There are methods that you can practice which will help you get an edge when you play. When you choose to employ some smart concepts to win, it is easier to do.

One of the first things to keep in mind is that it is all about where you decide to sign up. Today’s bingo sites offer some amazing experiences, but they all run promotions from time to time. If you get started when they are giving out a big bonus then you are already set up to win more. Because you get so much more cash to work with when you sign up with a bonus, this is smart.

Just these tips are going to give you an edge all by themselves, but that’s not all. Practice is something you really should do at a new site you signed up for, right away. When you start at a new site, choose the practice bingo games so that you can learn all of the buttons. This is the easy way to educate yourself on how the games on that site work.

The auto daub feature can be your best friend and make sure you don’t miss any numbers on your card as they are called. A lot of people even know about this feature and don’t turn it on which means they miss numbers. Go ahead and make sure you leverage this tool so that you get the most from your game.

It is a very wise idea to use strategy to your advantage because it is possible in bingo now. Plenty of people approach this game with certain tactics and one is to be careful about how expensive the cards you buy are. It is not wise to spend too much per card as this will run your money out fast.

When you are playing with the low cost cards you can have several, but if you buy the more expensive cards there is no sense in getting more than one or two. Just small tips of this type are going to help you win more on the web. Most of the best bingo players out there will tell you that a bit of looking at these types of tips can go a long way towards helping you win. This is the easy way to make sure you do what you can to win a little more.
