Useful Gadgets
When you think of gadgets you may thing of James Bond with a watch that shoots a laser. Or of Inspector Gadget with a hat that doubles as a pair of helicopter rotor blades that can life him off the ground to catch the bad guy.
But gadgets can literally be a device that is useful in getting a job done, like a can-opener or a TV remote control.
If you’re out in the car and your mobile phone battery dies and you break down, what can you do? You could get to one of those phones, which are on the motorway every so often but they are quite a way apart, if you have to walk to them, and what if it’s cold or wet?
You could have already had a universal charging pack for your car. You would’ve been able to see that your battery was low and used the pack to charge it back up in case of the above emergency before the car broke down.
You could also have had a solar charger. Which would mean you could charge the battery using the sun’s energy and then been able to call the breakdown company.
The above is an example of how gadgets can make everyday situations either easier or just plain accomplishable.
They don’t even have to elaborate, for example, a can-opener, is essentially just a piece of metal or plastic with a hole at one end! But without, you can’t get into a bottle without having tooth ache for your trouble!
