If you are studying this piece, then likelihood is that you want to hang with the enormous’dogs’ and your skimpy, small car audio systems isn’t cutting it. Are you bored with being laughed at whenever you crank up the volume in your auto to hear your favourite song? If you’re, then you need to discover how to improve your vehicle audio electronics to get the pumping, slamming sound quality that all of your mates have. Now, there are many ways that you can do this. However important things first, you’re going to be forced to purchase more car audio electronics for your ride as the system that comes factory installed in cars arenot the quality that we are chatting about in this piece or the quality that you are pondering if you’re studying this report. Car Audio Electronics

Brands
If you’re hoping to improve your automobile audio electronics, then you’re going to be forced to purchase new speakers. If you go to store and look around, you may probably get overpowered by the demonstration of all of the diverse car audio speakers that thereis for sale on the market, and letus not forget about all the brands that are available. Now, if you’ve a particular brand to mind , then that is’s great. by knowing what brand you want, will help to dump many decisions for you and will not make your outing a headache. Just go to the store and stick with the brand that you had to mind , and donot even glance at the other brands. It’ll save on confusion! Car Audio Electronics

But , if you don’t have a particular brand to mind , then just seeing all the varieties that are available will need help in selecting the proper brand for you. Some of the top brands of vehicle audio electronics that you’re going to potentially find include brands like : Kenwood, JVC, Alpine and more. The choice is yours, but to help get rid of the misunderstanding check out consumer reviews of the products on the web or ask a sales associate or customer service representative.

Options
Improving your vehicle audio electronics not only gives you options in the brand category, but it also gives you a big variety of options when it comes to all the necessities and accessories that a car audio electronic system can have. First, you need to decide on the speakers that are required for your vehicle. If you replace the present speakers, you may want to make sure that you put speakers back into the space allotted so that you donot have a hole or a speaker that appears not to work. In addition, you can add a selection of other speakers ( usually bigger ones ) and other equipment like : subwoofers and amplifiers.

So far they've discovered that, according to a CS rep: "New York is not ready for the iPhone." Updated.

The conversation Consumerist's Laura Northrup had with an AT&T customer service representative after confirming that iPhones could not be purchased online when using any New York zip code almost plays out like an SNL skit:

Daphne: Welcome to AT&T online Sales support. How may I assist you with placing your order today?

Laura: Hi, I was looking at the iPhone 3Gs and the system tells me that I cannot order one in my ZIP code. My zip code is 11231. (Brooklyn, NY) Is this true? Are iPhones no longer available in New York City?

Daphne: I am happy to be helping you today . Yes, this is correct the phone is not offered to you because New York is not ready for the iPhone.

Daphne: You don't have enough towers to handle the phone.

Laura: Thank you for your help. So the phone is not available to people anywhere in the city?

Daphne: Yes this is correct Laura.

Yikes. We know that AT&T's aware that it sucks in NY, but is the solution to a localized network strain from heavy data usage to stop online sales of a particular phone? Doesn't exactly seem like the most sensible of ideas, especially since there are plenty of iPhones in AT&T's brick-and-mortar New York stores.

Something else that's peculiar about this "sales ban" is that folks in San Francisco, another spot where data puts a huge strain on AT&T's network, are still able to purchase the iPhone online:

gawkerGallery(5435078,2,'');

A possible explanation to things comes in the form of whispers regarding some kind of New York-based online sales fraud, but somehow the answer to the old ""Is it the network?" still seems to be a loud, angry "Yes!" After all, how can a bit of online sales fraud prompt refusing to sell one particular phone model to an entire market?

Whatever the real story here, I'm definitely curious to hear if AT&T makes an official statement on this odd issue. Hell, I'd be happy with just another Luke Wilson pep talk.
As a Time Warner Cable customer, I've experienced rather annoying issues with the Scientific Atlanta 8300HDC digital video recorder (DVR). I've been forced to replace it on several occasions. Other times, it would simply stop working, requiring me to unplug it from the wall to reboot.

It had become such a problem that I finally decided I'd had enough last week and that I'd ditch Time Warner Cable's HD DVR for a TiVo HD. For $239.99 at Best Buy (the company was offering it on sale--the TiVo HD usually retails for $299.99), it was a great deal. I also paid $129 to get one full year of TiVo service.

My new toy.
(Credit: TiVo)

With the TiVo HD in hand last Monday, I was ready to enjoy my new toy. I contacted Time Warner Cable to get all the details I needed to get set up.

Training anyone?
When I called Time Warner Cable last Monday, I was extremely displeased by the company's customer service. No one quite understood what I was talking about when I told them that I wanted to switch from my HD DVR to the TiVo HD. I asked them what the set-up process was. I wanted to know if I lost any channels.

After waiting for about five minutes for the customer-service representative to find information on the TiVo ("Sorry, we don't get many of these requests," she told me), she finally read to me, verbatim, what it said on her sheet.

According to the technician, I would need to have a multichannel CableCARD installed to get my programming. Unfortunately, I would lose several channels even with the CableCARD. I was told by the agent that I would need a Switched Digital Video adapter in addition to the CableCARD to retrieve those channels. An SDV adapter is basically a black set-top box that connects to the TiVo HD, allowing you to watch switched digital video channels. It's a fancy term for saying that Time Warner Cable is trying to save bandwidth.

Somewhat satisfied by the information, I told the agent that I wanted to schedule an appointment for a Time Warner Cable technician to come to my house and install both the CableCARD (you're not allowed to install it yourself) and the SDV adapter. No luck. The agent told me that I would first need to go to the Time Warner Cable Web site and fill out an online form. Upon doing so, I was put in line to receive an SDV adapter.
