The freezing temperatures are really and truly with us at the moment. In fact it looks like being a cold spell to equal the last properly great one we had in the UK. That was 1963. It was so cold then for such a prolonged period of time that even my cautious and protective allowed us to stand on the frozen canal. That said; I think we are still a long way from there yet, and I would certainly advise NOT venturing on any ice that’s on top of water deep enough to come over your knees.

Back to business: if you can overlook the pun; our little firm is completely snowed under with orders for and enquiries about winter wiper blades. Many people are struggling with Wiper blades that have gone rigid to such an extent that they cannot flex to the shape of the windscreen any longer. Another problem is that the ice can really grip the rubber, and when the driver tries to free the windscreen wiper, they end up shredding the rubber; so making the wiperblade unuseable.

We specialise in Silicone Wiper Blades, and they really come into their own in tough conditions. They normally don’t cost any more than premium quality rubber wiper blades, but unlike rubber wiper blades, any decent brand of silicone wiper blades will come with a 12 month guarantee.

Silicone wiper blades have much better resistance to ice sticking to them than rubber wiper blades, so they seriously reduce the risk of burning out your wiper motor or breaking the windscreen wiper transmission system.

Additionally, silicone wiper blades remain flexible down to -60°C, so they continue to work even in the coldest of british conditions, this helps them to shake off any ice that manages to stick, and to follow the shape of the windscreen, so shifting the snow much more effectively.

In additions; silicone wiper blades are resistant to attack from the anti-freeze additives that we must use to keep our windshield washers flowing in freezing conditions.

In deep snow; I still advise removing the most of it with a brush before you start your wipers, because the increased weight of the snow could well damage your wiper motor or transmission. Doing this also avoids a build up of too much compacted snow at the end of the wiper blade’s sweep. When you get such a build up; it prevents the wiper from making its full sweep, and this puts extra strain on the wiper motor and the wiper transmission system. By not dealing with this issue you risk a burnt out wiper motor or wrecked wiper transmission system. Neither of these are cheap to repair on modern cars.

Even when I have silicone wiper blades fitted on my car, when it’s freezing; I just routinely lift my silicone wiper blades off the screen, and allow them to spring back. This ensures they are free and clear, and helps shake off any ice. I also knock off any excess snow, so that I know I’m not going to wreck the wiper motor or transmission system, and that’s it. Clearer vision, longer lasting wiper blades, and when we eventually, I can be sure that my silicone wiper blades won’t be attacked by the ozone or ultra violet in the sunshine, nor will they melt and stick to the windshield, even in the hottest conditions.

Let’s speak about garages with stages. In such constructions drivers carry out cars drive on floors on stages and moving along a floor to a parking lot.

Stages can be one-strip, with a transport one-way traffic, or that is less desirable, two-way — with an oncoming traffic. Along with direct stages there are stages with turns, curves, up to the oval or round screw; stages can be parallel or counter. The choice of type of a stage depends on the sizes and the site form in the plan, arrangements of entrances and departures, numbers of floors, and also operational requirements. Stages can settle down in garage at external walls or absolutely separately, to have own ladder platforms or to include thoroughfare on floors, to be continuous, faltering, to consist of sites with an identical or various bias. Dependence of constructive decisions on the site plan, and also necessity of the account of local conditions do not allow offering any one system, optimum in all cases. The combination various named above variants is sometimes expedient.

If garage overlapping is laid with a bias and lanes on them in full or in part carry out functions of stages (so-called «garage stages») the expense of the area on one place of storage (including thoroughfare) even more will decrease in the absence of special stages.

Thus in certain conditions the existing bias of district (entrance and departure) is successfully used. It is possible to consider such garages literally as “lengthening of streets” if along each party of overlapping one number of cars takes places only. By the same principal garages with screw stages where entrance and departure are carried out on a stage, twisted in the plan and a profile like the screw are carried out. Favorable process of a traffic is created compulsorily when cars get on storage places not from a stage conducting upwards, and from a stage conducting downwards, and places of parking are located at an angle 45 or 60 ° to an axial line of a stage.

Along with the circular meet also rectangular, square and oval in respect of a stage.

In the presence of separate one-strip or multi-strip stages for entrance and departure there is the simple and evident system of movement providing fast installation of the car on parking that has paramount value for constructions with intensive operation. In case of need it is temporarily possible to use both stages for one-way traffic, i.e. without an oncoming traffic.

For separate constructions it is possible to recommend application of one external one-strip stage providing entrance and departure of cars if in certain time intervals one-way traffic (with rare exception) is carried out. Such system approaches for many-storied garages at factories, administrative centers, industrial zones, the large constructions intended for mass meetings (theatres, sports constructions etc.), and other similar objects in which entrances and departures occur cyclically.

If you need help with finding car garage – this site will help.
The process of earning your degree online doesn’t have to be a complicated one. You can earn a degree with little hassle and great success by just knowing what is available and taking hold of your future. Make your dreams a reality by taking an online course and furthering your education. Whether you are just starting your college education or you desire to earn a degree that will help you gain a higher standing in your company, online education is the way to go. This modern way of education has helped millions worldwide gain access to degree while maintaining their social, family, business and community obligations. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

College Online Application- The process of applying to an online university course is very similar to a typical on campus application process. You will probably be required to write an essay or two, give your information and transcripts (if you have transcripts) and you will possibly be contacted by phone for a personal interview. Do not be intimidated by the college online application process. They are simply trying to find out who you are, what you would like to study and your qualification to take the course (if you have the prerequisites in place.). Be confident, be yourself and be excited!

College Online Classes- The college online classes offered come in a variety. You can earn a degree in teaching, law, sports medicine, technology, journalism, psychology, and so much more! Depending on the degree, you will easily be able to find out how long your degree will take. The excellent thing is, online courses are not just for undergraduate courses, they also include Masters degrees, PhDs and MBAs as well. Class settings for each individual course will vary. Some are broken up into weeks where you read a certain amount then write a short essay of 500 words or so at the end of the week. Others are broken down into days and you are sent MP3 versions of lectures. If you are curious as to how the classes operate, never hesitate to ask before you apply.

College Online Learning- The benefits of college online learning are many! You will not have to commute, you can do it in your own time and you are not obligated to be absent from events you desire to be present at. Online learning is an excellent option for those who need to stay employed yet need to further their educations.
