One thing that all people have is their emotions.  On some people these emotions are more easily displayed.  For some emotions it is good.Some people display emotions such as happiness and excitement and laughter.Other people show anger and sadness more. Most people experience these emotions but sometimes they get out of hand. Anger is one of these emotions.

As you have read in this article anger can be dangerous and detrimental to family life. In my practice doing anger management in San Diego I have seen the effects it can have on a family. It could make staying with that person very very uncomfortable for the people staying with him/her. It makes everyone around the person afraid and be aloof with that person. It can turn what is supposed to be a place of safety into a negative place. That place of safety is home life. 

It may be surprising but anger sometimes stems from an emotional issue like depression. Whatever the case may be a person might be in a depressed mode. Often times it leads to anger when some problems seem unsolvable or there is no way out. That is why I advice everyone feeling depression to seek a depression counselor. It is best to stop something before it escalates into something worse. After all it might not lead to anger but maybe to something worse where they hurt themselves. 

Whatever the case may be these two emotions should be dealt with seriously. If you let either of the two emotions get the best of you and do not seek help then it will definitely get worse.It can ruin your family. I would like to talk about two very powerful emotions that in a few situations, require professional attention.  They are anger and depression.Two emotions that seem very different from one another can both start some very major problems.  I have seen it first hand as a family therapist San Diego.

It is a fact that both issues are big problems because both can be causes of violence.In situations such as anger, it sometimes leads to violence against other people.In situations of depression, the results can be use of violence against themselves.

When you are addressing a situation like anger, it can be a very sticky situation.As I said earlier, it is an emotion that has to be taken control of.  Because as we well know a lot of people do bad things when they are angry.It does not necessarily need to be physical, it also can come in the form of emotions.  If that is the case you need to address it through anger management San Diego.

Now when talking about depression, this issue is a serious problem as well.It is very dangerous because a lot of times you might not even be aware of it.What I mean is that depression is something someone might experience without you even knowing about it.When that occurs, bad things can happen that weren’t planned.  Things like suicide.  I have seen it happen to often as a depression counselor.

If you feel you are experiencing depression, address it quickly.Because before you can even think about it, the situation could have gone too far.Loved ones of yours could even possibly miss it and not be aware of it.  When that happens it can be too late.So treat it early and quickly.It can be fixed.

Yes sirree, that’s one plus and two very big minuses. Good thing I decided to hit the gym, hunkify myself, and spend my nights with beautiful women and alpha dog men! At least, that’s what I tell myself as I write this, ending another 10-hour PC session. Excuse me while I slowly shuffle to a corner and cry my depressed heart out.

Just to be clear though: the study was conducted back in 2006, and we all know 3 years is an eternity nowadays, right? Here’s to hoping that gaming’s now more mainstream, and that there are more gamer-slash-health-nuts out there.
