The Way To Get A Printer

Posted by on Saturday, 21 May, 2011

Not so long ago, only the extremely wealthy and large businesses owned printers. These machines were quite costly and did not work nearly as well as the printers of today. You couldn’t buy them from your local Walmart and you had to know somebody in the industry to actually find one for sale.

These days, you can buy a printer almost anywhere. Whether its Best Buy, Walmart, Kmart, or one of the many online stores, it is easy to find a printer that meets your needs. However, now we have a new printer problem. With such a vast array of printers to choose from, many people do not know which printers will be best for them.

I wrote this article to talk about the various kinds of printers that are on the market so that you’ll choose the one that works best for you. I’ll talk about standard letter sized printers as well as larger models like the 11×17 laser printer. After you have finished reading this article, you’ll have all the knowledge you need to make a good purchase.

Firstly, you’ll need to decide whether you want all your printing to be done on paper or if you want to print on shirts and other fabrics. When you must make prints on cloth, you’ll have to get a digital garment printer. This type of printer will allow you to quickly and easily print on shorts, shirts, or anything else you need to print on. They are perfect for making company uniforms or printing out team shirts.

When you just need a printer that makes standard prints on paper, you’ll only need to decide between size and ink type. Standard home and office printers only allow you to print on letter size paper. If you want to print on 11×17 paper, you’ll need to look into getting an 11×17 laser printer.

You’ll also need to decide whether or not you will use color. The same printer will cost you much more when you buy it in a color model over a black and white model. Also, color print cartridges tend to cost more than black and white print cartridges.

One last thing you’ll want to consider is which type of printer to buy. The types you can choose between are laser printers and ink jet printers. Laser printers generally provide a more precise print. However, a laser printer will cost you a bit more than an ink jet printer.

No matter what printer you decide on, be sure that you get one that does everything you need it to do. You wouldn’t want to buy a machine that can’t do what you need to do.

If you’re searching to acquire more information on a typical or 11×17 printer, please visit my website. There you’ll find information about the 11×17 laser printer in addition to the 11×17 color printer.

Kmart and Sears have a product page for the PS3 Slim – ZOMG!

Posted by on Tuesday, 18 August, 2009

ps3-slim

Oh boy, kiddies. The PS3 Slim rumor just got a whole lot more credible. Kmart and Sears both have a product page live for the PS3 Slim. The Sears page even states the following

PS3, SLIM High-Definition Blu-ray player for the best movie experience. Free PLAYSTATION Network membership. 120GB HDD for downloading games, music, videos, and photos. Includes DUAL SHOCK 3 controller. HDMI output for 1080p resolution.

Now, the page doesn’t show any pics but it does show a $299 price and a release date of 8/24/2009. That’s next Monday! It’s probably best to keep one of the product pages up in a tab and hit the refresh button every few minutes just in case more info appears. That’s what I’m going to do. Peter Ha however has retreated into a corner and is rocking back and forth while we wait for more info. It’s sad.
