Microsoft Stores coming to Denver and San Diego

Posted by on Thursday, 1 April, 2010

Right now there are only two Microsoft retail outlets, one in Phoenix, AZ and another in Mission Viejo, CA. These locations opened last year to much singing and dancing, but soon there will be two more. According to a job posting on Microsoft’s site, Denver and San Diego will soon be home to their very own Microsoft Stores.

These location have been praised for their open and light feeling although it’s clear where the designers got their inspiration. They are nearly exact copies of Apple Stores with a similar layout and vibe. Expect for a black and white theme, they are bit more bright thanks to Windows’ red, green, orange, and blue color palette. So look out, unannounced mall in Denver and San Diego, Microsoft is coming for you.

CrunchDeals: Madden NFL 10 and NCAA Football 10 for $60 (Xbox 360)

Posted by on Tuesday, 2 February, 2010

Sure, the NFL season is basically over and the NCAA football season is definitely over but if you’ve put off buying Madden NFL 10 and NCAA Football 10 for the Xbox 360 until now for some reason, you can get both for just $60.

Available at the Microsoft Store, both games normally cost $60 each. They’ll both be replaced come late summer but, hey, you’ve got some time to kill between now and then.

CrunchDeals: Sony W netbook for $299

Posted by on Wednesday, 20 January, 2010

pink[1]If you can stomach a pink netbook, the Microsoft Store is selling the Sony VAIO W for $299 when using coupon code MSStore-PC-40% – the regular price is $499, officially making this a wheel of a deal.

You may recall this pink deal from less than a month ago, except back then the sale price was just $375. Apparently pink doesn’t sell these days. Maybe it’ll sell at $299, though.
