Gaze closely at the above picture. Is this classy-looking bunch of phones the actual trio of Galaxy S II devices we expect to see unveiled at Samsung’s press event this coming Monday? If so, our mouths are commencing salivation as we speak. From the looks of it, the Samsung Hercules, Epic Touch 4G and Attain are shown off hanging out together in full disclosure. Granted, we’ve seen the T-Mobile and Sprint versions before, so this image simply verifies what we’ve already seen. The big reveal, however, is the look of AT&T’s variant — a device that’s managed to do the best job at playing hide-and-seek — which appears to be eerily similar to a leaked render we encountered in June. We’re only a matter of days away from knowing for sure, but this will definitely get your weekend started off on the right foot.

Human behavior is rarely not exhibited by a dog. Many, whether dog owner or not, see dogs as almost like humans because they feel a wide range of emotions too and deserve to be loved.Because of their recognition and study of what dogs like and dislike, animal portraits can be done successfully.

If a dog does not want to have his picture taken, he would usually start barking or refusing to prick up his ears.He could choose to give the portrait artist a hard time by being a distraction. To ensure that your dog will be give an interesting pose for the shot, you must surprise it with something that will appeal to his sense of hearing rather than his sense of smelling.A sniffer would crane his neck to find the source of the smell, in effect ruining the lines and contours, but a dog who is slightly surprised will simply stand erect. If you are in search of info don’t forget to view this resource dog portraits.

Your dog is alert and energetic in the early morning, making it the best time for the photograph. Being more alert, the hungry dog’s reactions would make it do the pose. It is also not so hot at this time, so he would not be panting as much as when he is done playing and exercising. Photographers would avoid dogs whose mouths are wide open or who look tired as their photography subjects.

Radio broadcasting studios and dog photographers’ studios share a common thing. You can find any kind of sound effect there for instant use. Among the different sounds available are duck quacks, pop guns, mouse squeaks, and many others.

A breeder wants to see perfection shown in his dog’s portrait as he inspects the proofs. Dog photographers are resigned to the fact that what an artist puts into his sketches is different from what a photographer should include in his canine portraits. What an artist can see, not what he knows, is what he includes when he draws a picture. When working with dogs, the other way is true, and the photographer must be able to get into the picture what should be there and not what is seen. Get in touch with this resource if you have a desire to find out about dog oil painting.

Exaggerating a daschund’s length is recommended. Dogs’ bodies should be slightly tilted at an angle and their feet should be placed firmly on the ground for the shot. The most complicated of all breeds in cases like this is the German boxer. Seeing other dogs in the same area can change this friendly dog into a hostile animal.

There are cases in which amateur photographers forget that taking pictures of dogs is easiest when the dogs are hungry. They end up having subjects who don’t show the slightest interest in the shoot because they fed them. It would be easy for a dog to assume his stance if he is alert.

Usually, a photographer would want the breeder to step out while he is posing the dog. Their reason is that a dog owner frequently fusses about his dog, much like a doting mother who is nervous over his child. Likewise the dog is too accustomed to the tricks employed by his master in attracting his attention and is not aided by his presence. Strange sound effects on the other hand would bring out the reaction needed from the animal.

Researchers trying to determine the age of deceased individuals are finding success with a new method: looking in people’s mouths. Nuclear bomb testing in the 1950s, it turns out, turned everyone’s teeth into radioactive clocks. More »

There have been some incredible innovations over the past two decades. Computer technology has boomed in ways no one ever thought possible. Just since I was a child, the entire world has been turned on its ear by technological advance. Never before have people been able to communicate so freely and expressively as they can now. With so many people using messaging programs, emoticons MSN messenger gives you are by far the best there is out there.

Sometimes it’s hard to understand exactly what someone is trying to say when you’re reading a chat text. While it’s an incredible tool to have at our disposal, being able to communicate primarily through text on a screen can sometimes prove trying. You never know exactly what tone someone has when they’re chatting with you.

When you’re talking to someone face to face, you can see their expressions so regardless of the words coming out of their mouths, you know what they mean. You can see if someone is being sarcastic or joking or is actually upset. It’s a little harder to discern these things on the telephone but typically, someone’s voice inflection gives us a pretty clear picture as to their frame of mind.

You’re able to blow kisses, give hugs, shrug your shoulders or even frown. The list of emotions that can be expressed is huge and there are new emoticons being added all the time. You can even send in suggestions to MSN on emoticons that they should put into use.

If you’re chatting with someone you don’t know very well, these characters are a great way to get your point across in the right manner. If you know someone who takes things the wrong way frequently, they can be a blessing when you’re chatting with them, as well.

By displaying emoticons MSN gives you, you’ll always have great chats. Your friends will see what you mean and how you mean it. Never guess about comments made again.

You may not be very surprised to learn that times are tough right now for many people throughout the country. You hear that the official unemployment rate is about 10% but secretly, many people say it is much higher.

However, this article isn’t really about doom and gloom. In fact, I want to believe that things are going to get better, just like you most likely do.

Health is very important to us. And when times get tough, people get stressed. Sometimes this takes a toll on your health.

It is no secret that many researchers have discovered evidence that suggests the health of our bodies are very connected to the health of our mouths. Yet people have problems with this in many regards!

One is the cost of dental treatment. The other is a lack of understanding, about how to improve dental health at home. These two factors are very related. If you understand good home care, you have a much better chance to keep your teeth and gums healthy AND avoiding expensive dental bills at the same time.

Here are some tools that can help.

1. The hydrofloss - Oral irrigation can be very helpful to your dental health – however this particular device is, in my opinion the best. It has been studied and the studies have been published in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology not once, but twice!

2. Therabreath moutwash – pH balanced, oxygenated mouthwash – very powerful for combatting bad breath and even gum disease.

Taking care of your dental health often needs to extend beyond just regular toothbrushing and flossing. After all, if they were enough to truly maintain your dental health, then why are so many people walking around that need or have had expensive dental treatments? In time, you will begin to understand that what you do at home can have a major impact on your health, well-being and your wallet – all at the same time!

Get more information on this topic from the book: What You Should Know about Gum Disease – available at Amazon and other online book sellers.

Seriously, Smartbook AG: nobody gives two piffles about the smartbook name. It won’t catch on and your legal wrangling just puts a bad taste in people’s mouths when they hear about it. If I were you I’d pack it up. All this makes you look like foolishponces.

One of the coolest features for Spore gamers is the ability to create their own creatures. Now, anyone can assemble aliens through a new site set up by Electronic Arts.

Spore Creature Creator 2-D, released Wednesday, lets you conjure up and animate your own creatures using an assortment of eyes, arms, feet, horns, and various unidentifiable body parts.

Produced by EA's Maxis studio, the Flash-based game starts with a large egg cracking open to reveal a simple alien body that you mold online like a lump of clay. Thin, fat, long, or short--you devise your creature's basic shape. Then it's time to build your baby with the right parts.

The Spider
(Credit: Electronic Arts)

Choosing from such categories as mouths, limbs, and graspers, just drag your favorite body parts onto your creature to evolve it from a formless blob into a fully-functioning whatever. The game helps you along, directing you to drop the parts in all the right places. You can bend and resize many of the parts, giving your creature big eyes and a small mouth or long legs and stubby feet. You can also add a splash of paint by choosing from a wide palette of colors.

As you develop your creation, it takes on life by showing off its animated parts, such as a mouth that opens and closes, eyes that blink, and graspers that try to grasp. If you're in a hostile mood, you can even add weapons, like the Problem-Solvent that sprays solvent, the Hockitlauncher that spits out water, or the Phlegmthrower that shoots, uh, well, you get the idea.

If you need a helping hand, you don't have to build your creature from scratch. Spore Creature Creator 2-D lets you tap into the Sporepedia, an online gallery of creatures designed by Maxis developers and other Spore gamers. Simply load one of the pre-existing creatures and then tweak it to assemble a totally new organism.

Once you're done, it's time to name and describe your creature. You can then take it for a workout in the Creature Trainer arena, where you move it around the screen to catch bouncing balls with its mouth, hands, or other parts.

The Chamelon
(Credit: Electronic Arts)

If you're proud of your new creation, you can e-mail a postcard image of it to a friend or save it as a PNG file for your own picture gallery or Web site.

A variety of Spore masterpieces are viewable at the Sporepedia Web site. And for all you budding Spore artists, Maxis is offering a Creature Creator challenge. Recreate one of your favorite Spore creatures using Creature Creator 2-D for a chance to be featured on Spore.com.

Caryl Shaw, a senior producer at Maxis who helped bring Spore Creature Creator 2-D to life, told me the game came about because Maxis wanted to make Spore more accessible and let anyone with a Web browser experience the same creativity that Spore gamers enjoy. As one of the most popular features of Spore, the Creature Creator seemed a natural.

Dragons are present in worldwide cultures’ myths and they are creatures with reptilian traits. The “dragon” word comes from Greek and it means “serpent of huge dimensions”, “water-snake” and it can be related to the verb “drakein”, which means “see clearly”. They have been depicted and they still are drawn as huge lizards or snakes with two pair of legs and the most special ability is to emit fire out of their mouths. In the European mythology, they also have large bat wings on their back. If you see a dragon without its front legs, it is called wyvern. Some of the dragons are supposed to use the front legs for walking, in pterosaurs-fashion, when they are on the ground. This type of dragon is present in the movie “Reign of Fire”.
<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->
Dragons are seen different in various cultures. The common ability is that they breathe and/or spit something out of their mouths: fire, ice or poison. In all cultures they have snake or reptile appearance and they always watch out for their eggs. They sometimes are depicted with feathers too and red/yellow large eyes. Depending on the culture, they also have dorsal spines or bat-like wings. A visible difference is between the European and the Oriental cultures, where in the first one, the dragons are winged, and in the second one, dragons resemble more with snakes.

Over time, their dimensions also changed: if in the old mythological stories they were smaller than humans, lately they are presented as huge creatures, much larger than humans. Dragons have a very important spiritual role, and they are present in various cultures around the world. They are representatives of the forces of nature, of dark forces, of religion and sometimes their strong nature is associated with the huge dimensions of the universe. Another association is made between dragons and wisdom, because in older tales, wizards owned dragons, which helped them in witchcraft, and often also had magic powers. There are cultures where dragons are capable of human speech and they are associated with water elements too, like rain and rivers. In military vocabulary, the term dragoon represents the infantry, and it is derived from the early term of “firearm” a musket which spat flame when it was fired, and from here comes the association made with the dragons.

In the Eastern mythology, dragons usually protect people and they are associated with positive things, while in the Western cultures, they are symbols of evil, and signs of his presence in the world. It is said that dragons are treasures owners and to win their confidence you should pass over some riddle challenges. Sometimes, the winners of these contests were allowed by the dragons to ride them. In the Medieval times, they were symbols of hatred and envy, and sometimes, they represented natural calamities. There were exemplars of dragons with more than one head, and they represented the decadence and oppression in the world. Despite all these associations, some European peoples have seen in dragons strong and royal creatures. Heroes who have defeated dragons were great humans, which could be proud that they have defeated the most artful creatures. Another interesting link was made between dragons and transcendental worlds, because they had both Air (the wings) and Earth (legs, snake appearance) elements.

The Dragon is also one of the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac, and the Year of the Dragons is associated with the earthly branch, one of the twelve branches used in the Chinese culture for reckoning time. Generally, Chinese seasons are established by sun and stars observation and not on weather particularities. There are stories in which dragons’ blood has magical powers and one good example is the Sigfried opera, where a dragon’s blood let Sigfried understand the language of the Forest Bird.

The heraldic symbolism of dragons represents nobility and courage. Dragons are important elements in heraldry; there are many coats of arms which use this element, and in the beginning of heraldry, the armor had special designs to distinguish the troops in battles. Wyverns, hydras,
basilisks and cockatrices, amphipteres are present on many families’ shields. The color dragons have in these shields is very important, because a certain color given to a dragon can change the meaning of what it represents: for example, black dragons are evil, brown dragons are linked to caves and earth, while purple dragons are a royalty symbol and red dragons are direcly linked to bad temperaments and unpredictability. Dragons which have noble colors, like silver, gold, or white symbolized reflective and thoughtful characters and they are associated with wisdom and intelligence, with peace and security.

Here are some images of dragons from various cultures, and you can observe the differences between their elements according to the cultures they belong to.

Dragons certainly have had an impact upon art and literature and they are present in science fiction, fantasy works. Dragons are rampant in literature and they have both roles of protagonist and antagonist, and they can be the first character in a story, or they can have secondary roles, to emphasize main character’s abilities and skills.

In history, one of the most important dragons is Quetzalcoatl, which was Aztecs symbol, a positive one, which was, of course a good dragon. In literature, there are a lot of sleeping dragons which guard treasures or princesses, and if they are waken up they become very dangerous, but there are also good dragons, which help heroes go on the “other land” to bring back special items or to solve various quests.

There are a lot of games in which dragons are present, and lately they entered tattoo world too, and there are some pretty cool artists which can draw a nice dragon on your back or on your hand. A lot of children love games with dragons, and they are present even in movies. One good example is the spirit guardian Mushu, in Mulan. He is one dragon which is closest to the original concept of dragon in Chinese culture, as a guardian of human soul.
