How Cellular Accessories Improve Your Cellular Experience

Posted by on Wednesday, 1 February, 2012

Mr. endowed is the perfect nickname that can be given to LG Spectrum. Unlike ordinary phones, this phone has been loaded with very many new features.

It is so classic and fabulous that the entire endowments blend together to give it a very good and enhanced performance. You can get all these enhancements and accessories very useful if you are really IT compliant. This device is a 100% IT package you carry with yourself. Something of everything can be found on it always. There is nothing you want that you cannot get with this smart phone. The enhancements might not be so pronounced but you have to discover most of them in the course of the usage.

It is very true that the set of smart phones in the market today which this phone is part of are endowed with over 2500 applications and is still ready to accept more when written and downloaded. While referring to the accessories for this device, you can find that they are of two types. They include the accessories that might come with the phone upon arrival and the accessories that might be designed by other companies in the phone enhancement business which this phone can accept and use comfortably. Another basis of distinction is the hardware and software accessories. It should be noted here that the set of accessories that can be gotten not from the manufactures of the device in question mostly comes in form of hardware accessories, though you might get some hardware involved.

All the hardware elements needed for the functioning of the phone and the phone body accompany the phone when bought. It must come with a set of chargers to keep the phone powered. These chargers might come in form of wall, USB or car forms or even in both forms. The next is the set of batteries that keeps the phone on when not plugged on an AC power. These are the hand ones you will get with the phone.

Other accessories in hardware category are the ones which are placed inside the phone body. You will even have the earpiece and USB wires to make your sound and connectivity a unique one. You should not purchase if your phone does not have all these. If you wish, you can also purchase other hardware accessories to enhance your phone’s functioning, though these may not accompany the phone by default. Speaker system with the new built is one of such hardware accessories.

This phone set of phones must come with the following set of hardware as its specification indicates. The network of the phone must be configured with 2, 3 and 4G which can function with CDMA 800/1900. The  mobile package must contain the touch sensitive control with multi touch feature, HD graphics engine, loudspeaker, Dolby mobile sound enhancement, internal storage of 4GB, micro SD, Wi-Fi, GPRS, Bluetooth system, Video and Audio recording system, Android enhancement and accessories, chipset QUALCOMM snapdragon, Dual core scorpion, Adreno 220, SMS and MMS facility, browser, GPS and other important phone accessories. These LG spectrum accessories are so delicate that you have to protect them with a LG spectrum case. You will also find the durable plastic LG spectrum screen protector very valuable.

Google+ web app adds two new features, iOS and Android soon to follow

Posted by on Wednesday, 18 January, 2012
Twitter recently revamped its web interface, and now Google has decided to do the same for the Google+ web app, bringing two new features that should be a boon for the Big G’s thriving social network. You can now see who’s been rolling out +1′s to your latest Hello Kitty pics with a simple click of the +1 count near the button. There’s also a “What’s Hot” stream, a section focused on the most interesting shared content that’s accessed by flicking your thumb right on the main Circles timeline. The only casualty from this update was the Incoming feed page, which was replaced due to lack of use according to its creator. The iOS and Android applications are expected to make the jump soon, but in the meantime, the web app should satisfy the need to indulge.

Kno adds new smart textbook capabilities: Kno Me, gets to know you (video)

Posted by on Wednesday, 18 January, 2012

Remember those iPad textbooks from Kno? Well, conveniently in advance of that other education announcement this week, the company has added two new features to the edu-party: Kno Me and Kno Flashcards. The former is an interactive graphical dashboard that details your learning habits, such as time spent in a book, understanding of key terms and test grades — perfect for nosey moms. Kno Flashcards, on the other hand, puts a new spin on the classic analog memory-jogger. Key points are automagically drawn from the book and compiled into cards, the software then uses metacognition, spaced repetition and episodic memory — three terms that need flashcards right there — to help you learn. Both are detailed in the video and PR after the break. Yes, there will be a quiz later.

Ford’s SYNC Destinations gets updated, now computer optional

Posted by on Monday, 9 January, 2012

Last year, Ford unveiled the SYNC Destinations app, which allowed owners to use their smartphones to preview and sling locations previously entered on syncmyride.com, to equipped vehicles. This year’s update simplifies that process, removing that last step, as locations can now be entered and sent to the vehicle entirely on device sans website. Also new, is the ability to access and report traffic incidents from “every major interstate, highway, arterial and city street in North America” and support for a plethora of new languages like French and German. PR detailing all the new features awaits after the break.

Dropbox knows you’re an early adopter, gives you a sneak peek of its new Android app

Posted by on Thursday, 22 December, 2011

Dropbox knows it’s not the only cloud storage option for Android, so the company is handing out an early Christmas present to get more green bots on board with its services: early access to its unreleased Android app. This new version, along with the usual debugging, adds a flood of fresh new features such as: bulk uploads, single-tap access to content and speedy offline entry to your favorites folder, just to mention a few. Fret not, newly minted Nexus owners, the cloud locker service isn’t staying away from the creamery — the application offers full ICS optimization, which is great news for all current and future adopters of the sugary OS. We know you love pre-released bits, so if you think you can handle it, the source link below has a download waiting for you.

Engine Yard plugs Node.js into its cloud

Posted by on Friday, 18 November, 2011

Engine Yard’s Platform-as-a-Service offering is adding support for Node.js applications.

This is just the latest indication that Node.js, a server-based and event-driven JavaScript framework, is becoming table stakes in cloud development and deployment environments. Engine Yard competitors like AppFog and Heroku, now part of Salesforce.com, already support the framework.

Developers like using Node.js because it supports JavaScript — a very popular language for client-side development — and because it is fast and scalable.

Specifically, Engine Yard said that the first release of Engine Yard Labs — a program to give developers early access to new features — will  include support for Node.js. That access will be enabled on Friday, the company said.

There is a caveat however. According to a blog post announcing the news:

Features released through Engine Yard Labs are not officially supported and may or may not become supported as part of Engine Yard products in the future.

San Francisco-based Engine Yard started out focused on Ruby on Rails but added PHP support through its acquisition of Orchestra in August. Virtually every PaaS player from AppFog to Microsoft Azure   is in an arms race to support as many languages as possible.
