One small checkbox for your mouse pointer, one giant leap for your Twitter account’s security. The microblogging site that every techie knows, loves, and occasionally loathes, has added a new option to allow users to go HTTPS full-time. For the unenlightened among you, that means all your communications with Twitter can now be done over an SSL-encrypted channel, which massively boosts their resilience to external attacks. That won’t protect you if you’re careless with your password or leave your account logged in on computers other than your own, but at least you can sleep a little more restfully knowing that nobody other than yourself will be embarrassing you on the Twittersphere.

Let’s face it, as our mobile computing devices get smaller and smaller, they get more fragile. To protect our precious gadgets, we wrap them in cushiony cases to protect them from a devastating fall to the ground. But these cases increase the bulk, reducing the convenience of the small form factor. One new option for iPhone — and now iPad — owners is Fusion of Idea’s StealthArmor.

This is a special film that applies to the back of your product to protect it from scratches, dents, and dings. It won’t save your iPhone from a four foot drop to the ground, but it will protect it from all the other stuff in your pocket, purse, or manbag. Or, in the case of the iPad, it’ll protect it from all the detritus on your coffee table, couch, or night stand.

StealthArmor material uses a new heat-bonding technology and is uniquely designed compared to other protective covers in the device accessories marketplace. StealthArmor was originally developed in the automotive racing world to protect car exteriors from flying asphalt at high speeds. Russ Taylor, who heads up Fusion of Ideas and races a Mitsubishi Evolution X in his spare time, applied the StealthArmor concept to design highly resilient protective material for electronic devices to preserve their sleek outer shells from daily scratches and dings.

I just applied some StealthArmor to my iPhone, and I give it a thumbs up. It’s comfortable to my hand, protects the case from casual wear and tear, and looks pretty nice.

The wireless communication is developing on a high speed and present a lot of new option every user. Thanks to the manufacturers who now produce the laptops with built in wireless switches, there is no need to use the wireless cards. Nowadays a lot of people are using the wireless laptops. It became extremely convenient to connect the network and disconnect it.

Wireless laptop function the same way as the traditional LAN, but the only difference is in the usage of the wires. Wireless is equipped with the wireless technology and there is no need at using the wires. The peculiarity of the system is that it catches the signals that are transmitted frequencies of the radio type that is why the wires are not needed at all. The notebooks are extremely portable. Besides they can be taken anywhere and provide the user with the access to the internet as long as the laptop is in the wireless area.

In order to prepare the laptop for the wireless network, the access point has to be installed. Basically it is known as network hub. It is a center of the wireless technology in some particular location and allows the user to use a couple of wireless devices at the same time. However this is not the only benefit of the network hub. It also allows having a few devices using the same network simultaneously. A couple years before in order to be connected to the wireless network; the user had to have a special card. Fortunately, the process of connecting the wireless network became faster and easier. However, there is such type as a dial up connection which is provided with the wires of the telephone line.

Wireless connection opened us a huge variety of different possibilities that were not known before. In most of the campuses f the universities and high schools there is a wireless connection that allows that allows the students to keep in touch with each other and with the professors. It became possible to contact each other being on huge distances. Wireless internet became also a huge achievement for the business. There appeared a chance to connect each other being in the remote areas. Besides, they can realize their projects being out of the office.

A lot of the cafes, restaurants and libraries are equipped with the wireless network and allow permanent access to the internet. The customer can just take the laptop and while staying in the café use the global network. It became so easy and fast to connect the network, that a lot of people can not imagine their life without using the wireless connection. Wireless connection offers us a huge variety of different possibilities.

Do you know that you can get free laptop?
There are many tricks one can use to try and get a better night’s rest. Some people prefer warm milk before bed, other people might put on a CD with soothing sounds. Another new option is to use toothpaste. Sure, most people tend to brush their teeth before bed, and rarely does it seem to actually help one sleep. However, if you’re using a very special kind of toothpaste, you might find yourself drifting off with a little more ease.

Pearly Dreams toothpaste contains a variety of ingredients such as Melatonin, Balm Mint, Valerian and Passionflower which together promise a great night’s sleep. I don’t know enough about such things to know how those will help you drift off at night, but the product is endorsed by Brad Whitford of Aerosmith, so you know you’ll get your Dream On. $20 gets you a 60-day supply.
