A quick look through the specifications of this cell phone will immediately tell you just how super this mobile can be. The Nokia X6 is a Quad band cell phone which was released in February this year. The dimensions of this cell phone are 111 x 51 x 13.8 mm and it weighs 122 g so it is not exactly the smallest or lightest mobile phone in the world. The No0kia X6 comes with a TFT capacitive touchscreen which supports 16 million colors. The size of the display is 3.2 inches in diagonal and its resolution is 360 x 640 pixels. The display has an accelerometer sensor which auto rotates the image when you rotate the mobile phone. The glass from which the display is made is scratch resistant and the screen has a proximity sensor which turns off the display automatically. When you receive calls, the phone can vibrate and you can also choose between different MP3 ringtones.

The phonebook will allow practically unlimited entries for contact information and as for the call records, the phone can store the recent calls list for maximum 30 days. The Nokia X6 comes with 16 GB of internal storage memory and 128 MB of RAM. There is no card slot but with 16 GB of internal memory, what more could you ask for from a mobile phone. This cell phone does not have an infrared port but that will most likely be useless since it does have an integrated Bluetooth. It also has one USB port for attaching different devices. The primary camera, and the most important one, has a 5 megapixels resolution and it can take photos at a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. Other features of this cool camera are the dual LED flash, Carl Zeiss optics and autofocus.

The operating system of this cell phone is the Symbian v 9.4. If you want to stay in touch with friends of business partners, this phone will allow you to send SMSs, MMSs, e-mails and even chat via instant messaging. This cell phone also comes with an included stereo FM radio and games like Spore, Asphalt 4, D Mix Tour and other which are available for download. The Nokia X6 is available in 3 colors or color combination: Pink on white, yellow on white and black. Other features of this super cool mobile phone are the player which supports the WMV, RV, MP4 and 3GP formats, another player which supports the WMA, MP3, AAC, M4A, RA and WAV formats. The phone come with an organizer, a photo editor, TV out, Flash Lite, T9 and voice dial. The included Li-Ion battery will keep this cell phone up for 401 hours is standby mode (2G)/420 hours (3G) and up to 8 hours and 20 minutes of talk time (2G)/6 hours (3G).

But occasionally, it happens. Last week I went to local entrepreneur meetup BetaGroup and saw five startups pitch their stuff to the 200-person audience.

The last one to get its five minutes of fame was Cherry, a new mobile operator that promised to "revolutionize the telecom world". Needless to say, I was as curious as I was skeptical.

Then the company's CEO got up on stage, introduced himself, took out his Nokia smartphone, called some random guy in the audience and had him call him back on his phone afterwards. Projecting his mobile phone screen on a bigger screen for everyone to see, he demonstrated how he didn't need to launch an application and just browsed his contact list to call the other person. Standard functionality, sure, but the cool part of it was the fact that the phone was lacking the presence of a SIM card, which is supposed to identify you as a subscriber of a telephony service.
