Configuring Outlook with regard to Yahoo also allows you make use of Outlook’s Calendar, Tasks, Notes and all its other Individual Info Management systems together with your Yahoo messages. Any personal information administration strategies you use with your regular Outlook mail will work together with your Yahoo email, once your connection is set up and individuals messages are entering your Outlook Email.

As you are able to see, you can obtain some important positive aspects by configuring Outlook to work with your Yahoo bill.

If you have a NetZero mail account and also use Microsoft Outlook, you’ve probably wondered if you could make the two of them work together so you can use Outlook to work with your NetZero mail account. The answer to that question is an affirmative. You can create a NetZero Outlook connection.

There are a few things you need to do (such as upgrading your NetZero mail account and configuring Outlook to talk to the NetZero mail servers properly) you’ll be able to deal with all your email in one place.

Yes, it will take you a little bit of time and effort. But think about it. Once you have your NetZero Outlook connection in place, you will be quite happy you put in the work. You’ll be able to manage your email all in the same place, which definitely saves you time and energy every day.

Don’t believe me? Then answer this question: How many times have you wasted time trying to find a message in Outlook only to discover that it is in your NetZero account or vice versa? How many times have you missed an important message or been late for something because you didn’t check all your email accounts? Set this up, and that problem goes away permanently.

Set this up and you also gain the benefits of Outlook’s integration for your NetZero mail. Expect to see a jump in your productivity when you set this up.

What it Takes to Make NetZero and Outlook Work Together Smoothly

As you know, NetZero’s free mail service is very popular. It’s a great service that they provide, but unfortunately, there’s a problem. You can’t use it with Outlook. At least, not in its most basic form.

But don’t give up hope yet! NetZero does provide a way for us to make a connection to Outlook.

To make this work, we’re going to need to upgrade your free NetZero account to a NetZero Platinum account or a NetZero HiSpeed account. NetZero makes the upgrade process fast and easy, and you don’t have to worry about transferring your messages from one account to another, or choosing a new email address, or any other major stumbling blocks.

To configure Outlook for NetZero you will need to follow quite a few steps, but each step is straightforward, and you can complete all of them, from upgrading your NetZero account to telling Outlook how to connect to your NetZero account, to testing the connection, within just a few minutes.

When you decide that it is time to move forward with the configuration, you will need to follow the link below. It takes you to a site that walks you through every step of the process to make NetZero and Outlook work together.

There are various programs available that can help you to restore lost data from files of different formats. Data loss may occur due to a number of reasons, among them being: virus attack; common computer malfunctions and other negative conditions. Files with the PST format are known to be used by Microsoft Outlook Software. This is normally the default mail client bundled with Microsoft Office. Here Repairing .PST Files Windows 7 you will understand more about repairing PST files for Outlook 2007.

As a matter of fact, Microsoft Outlook mail agent stores data previously saved by users, such as: mail messages, tasks, contacts, meetings and others all of them having “pst” extension. With some programs, it is possible to recover data found in those PST files. It includes identifying the data in each PST file in order to be able to restore it afterward, being able to read a corrupted PST file, keeping the recovered data into a new PST file. Storing the recovered data is indeed a great and very useful function of any such program. You can save such data with a different extension (like eml, vcf or txt). Check here PST Repair Outlook 2010 to read how to repair PST files for Outlook 2010.

It is important to note that the file size of such recovered PST file can reach 1GB. The software will save the recovered data into several files the moment the size will exceed 1GB. Be aware that while fulfilling their direct functions, such PST files restoration programs will not modify and will not index any damaged PST files, or any files with such extension.

Simple rule: during a single recovery session, a good PST file restoration program will be able to recover the information part of only 1 corrupted file (of any given format). So you have to re-launch the program again (and again) the moment you want to recover any other files (if any).

Feel free to find downloadable websites where it will be possible for you to get free trial versions of PST files restorations programs, like Recovery ToolBox for Outlook. Trial versions of these programs are meant for demonstration and advertisement, so these usually provide a limited number of recovery sessions. You can buy online any full version of such program using any available up-to-date method. To fully use the program, you will get for that purpose a Registry key.

Outlook 2010 can handle all your email accounts. This supplies you a single interface for working with all your messages. There are two aspects to making this happen. The first is knowing how to configure Outlook for Gmail or the specific services you use. Unfortunately, I do not have adequate space here to cover how that works. The link at the conclusion of this article will get you to a site that does contain all the information on setting up a Outlook 2010 Webmail linkage.

The second aspect is knowing how to manage the assorted email accounts after you have them configured. This post covers those basics.

When you Receive Messages

You can receive mail from various different types of email accounts. Outlook 2010 automatically checks each email account for you, depending on the options in your Send/Receive groups. Messages end up in assorted spots depending on the type of account. Typically, messages from Gmail and Hotmail accounts will end up in their own mail folders, while messages from other account types (Yahoo Mail, for example) end up in the Inbox.

So how do you see which messages go with which accounts? The messages that end up in their own set of folders aren’t hard to figure out. For other types of accounts, if you can’t tell just by looking, the To: field of the message provides the answer. The email address that the message was meant for will appear here.

When You Send Messages

When sending mail, you manage which account Outlook 2010 utilizes. Outlook always has a default account for sending mail, but you are able to order Outlook to use a different account like this:

When you forward a message, Outlook handles it the same way as a reply.

When you create a new message, Outlook uses the default account (unless you change it).

If you are replying to a message, Outlook uses the same account as the message by default. But you still have the option to tell Outlook to reply using a different account.

So how exactly do you tell Outlook 2010 to use a different account? You do so in the message window. Look for the “From” button next to the “Send” button (this only appears if you have more than one account set up). Click “From” and select the account you want to use.

Set the Default Email Account

If you want to change Outlook’s default account, here’s what you have to do:

1. In the Ribbon, click the “File” tab.

2. In the menu that appears, click “Info” to display the “Account Information” screen.

3. Click the “Account Settings” button and select “Account Settings…” in the menu that appears. This opens the Account Settings dialog box to the E-mail tabbed page.

4. In the box that contains the list of email accounts, select the default account you want.

5. If the account isn’t already the default account, the Set as Default option (located above the box containing the email accounts) should now be clickable. Click “Set as Default” to change the default account.

6. Click “Close” to return to the Outlook window.

You now possess the fundamental information you need to work with multiple Outlook 2010 mail accounts. All you need is solid instructions for connecting accounts to Outlook 2010. You’ll find them at: Microsoft Outlook Mail

Even better, this Outlook connectivity is yours for free with any GMX mail account. Unlike email services such as Yahoo Mail, you do not have to convert your email account (and shell out a per month or yearly fee) to make the linkage.

Which Protocol Should I Use POP3 or IMAP?

I highly direct you to utilize the GMX IMAP link. IMAP is perfect for a service like GMX. That’s because GMX provides 5GB of free storage for each email account, and with an IMAP link, copies of your messages remain in the GMX mailbox as well as in Outlook.

The contents of your GMX mailbox get synchronized with the GMX folders in Outlook. This is a huge advantage.

Because the GMX and Outlook folders are in sync, what you see in the GMX web interface will at all times match what you find in Outlook. Any changes you make via the GMX web interface appear in Outlook following a tiny delay.

Likewise, changes you make in Outlook get reflected in your GMX folders. If you read a mGMX mail message in Outlook, you’ll find that the message gets marked as read on the GMX side too. It may take a few moments for the two sides to sync up, but it will happen.

This is the power of using IMAP. You can use your web browser when that makes sense, and Outlook when that makes sense, without worrying about anything getting out of sync. To my mind this approach is so superior to the POP3 approach, where messages get copied from your GMX mailbox to Outlook, then deleted from your GMX mailbox.

Are you prepared to take advantage of a GMX Outlook IMAP connection? Then let me aim you to some clear-cut instructions on how to set up that link quickly and without difficulty. You can literally start enjoying the benefits of a GMX Outlook connection minutes from now. Click the link to make your Gmx Mail To Outlook connection.

Outlook 2010 is here and is gaining wide acceptance. And all of us Yahoo Outlook 2010 fans are anxious to get them working together. Fortunately for us, it is quick and easy to configure Yahoo Mail in Outlook 2010 access, once you know how.

But from the electronic mail I’ve received, and the cries for help I’ve observed online, lots of folkshave been tripped up by one or more of those issues. Here are a few of the mistakes that users are running into when trying to make Outlook 2010 and Yahoo Mail work together:

1. Using the Wrong Version of Yahoo Mail

Yahoo won’t let you connect to your free Yahoo Mail account with Outlook (or any other mail program). I’ve seen various theories why they do this, but all that really matters is they do.

To be able to make a Yahoo Outlook 2010 connection, you must upgrade your existing Yahoo Mail account into a Mail Plus account or a Business Mail account. Unless you can name a specific reason you need a Business Mail account, I strongly recommend Yahoo Mail Plus.

This upgrade isn’t a big hassle. You don’t have to change your email address or do anything differently. You get some additional capabilities from the upgrade, foremost of which is that it can connect with Outlook. But it does cost you a little bit of money ($19.95/year, or $1.66/month) in exchange for the big convenience of getting your Yahoo mail in Outlook.

2. Trying to Use an Unsupported Protocol

We need to lapse into nerd talk here for a minute. People with a little know-how in this type of thing try to set up a Yahoo IMAP connection, because the IMAP protocol is powerful and flexible.

But Yahoo only supports POP3 connections, no IMAP at all. The POP3 protocol isn’t as capable of advanced functions as IMAP, but it works just fine for sending and receiving Yahoo mail using Outlook 2010.

3. Trying to Guess the Obscure Settings

While you can certainly make this connection once you know how, the correct settings to use aren’t intuitively obvious to most people. As a result, they get one or more of the fiddly little setting wrong, and the whole project falls down.

This is why it is so important for you to work with instructions crafted by someone that has already set this up many times. Doing so will save you lots of anxiety. You certainly have better things to do with your time then spend an afternoon trying to get this figured out by yourself.

Now you’ve seen the three major issues I’ve seen when people try to make a Yahoo Mail Outlook 2010 connection. Getting it right is doable and pretty simple, when you have the right help.

If you use both Yahoo Mail and Outlook, there are three major reasons why you should set up a Yahoo Outlook connection. First, it will save you time. Second, it lets you apply Outlook’s sophisticate message management features to your Yahoo messages. Third, it lets you manage your Yahoo mail with Outlook’s Personal Information Management (PIM) features. That’s great, but why would you care about each of these things?

A Yahoo Outlook connection lets you check your Yahoo email right in Outlook, instead of forcing you to open a browser window and work with your email in two separate places. I’m sure that having one less place to look, one less window open on your desktop will make your life a little simpler. Plus, it helps you avoid problems like missing an important message because you somehow forgot to manually check your Yahoo Mail account at the right time.

By configuring Outlook for Yahoo mail access, you gain access to Outlook’s mail handling tools, powerful tools like folders and flags and mailing lists. That’s because your Yahoo messages appear in the Outlook Inbox as if it was any other Outlook mail. You are able to use all the tools you already know for handling mail, (automatically routing messages to specific folders, for example), in Outlook and apply them to your Yahoo messages.

Configuring Outlook for Yahoo also allows you to use Outlook’s Calendar, Tasks, Notes and the rest of its Personal Information Management (PIM) systems on your Yahoo messages. Any personal information management techniques you use with your regular Outlook mail , you can use with your Yahoo mail, once you configure Outlook for Yahoo mail access and those messages start arriving in your Outlook Inbox. Turning an incoming Yahoo Mail message into an appointment on your calendar for example, is trivial when that message is already in your Outlook Inbox or some other Outlook folder. Clearly configuring a Yahoo Mail in Outlook connection can have some major benefits.

Free Outlook – Get Free Outlook Software

Microsoft Office Outlook is a very complete and effective program right out of the package. Even so, there is a thriving subculture creating free Outlook add-ins and programs that work with Outlook in some way.

What do these freebies do?

Free Outlook software can do a lot of different things. Some of them are meant to extend what Outlook does on its own. The Outlook Hotmail Connector is one example. This add-in makes it easy to work with your Hotmail messages, contacts, and calendar into Outlook. With it, you won’t be stuck dealing with your Microsoft outlook mail in one spot and your Hotmail in another.

Or suppose you want to make your Outlook messages look better. Wouldn’t it be helpful to have some attractive stationery to use in your messages, so they show on a nice background, instead of the usual boring white of most messages? Well, there’s a place where you can down load stationery that is compatible with Outlook. And again of course, it is free.

Why do folks produce them?

There are many reasons. Some folks create Outlook freebies for their own use, then publish them for other people to make use of. Other free things are out there in hopes that you will like them and eventually decide to buy a more powerful or complete version of the product. There are as many different reasons as there are freebies.

How do I get them?

Although there are lots of Outlook freebies out there, it can be hard to find it. What you need is some kind of directory or review site that lists quality free Outlook products and where to get them.

Would you like to try out some of the best Outlook freebies? Then you should head over to this “Free Outlook add-ins and more” page.

One of the greatest challenges facing computer users is the barriers that are in place when they need to transfer PC files to a new computer. There are many different methods to get the job done but they all have different benefits adn capabilities. Finding that most users are unaware of the ways to transfer files from one computer to another, many different options have been created to facilitate the migration of information from one PC to another.

One of the first things to do when trying to Transfer Files from Vista to Windows 7 is to figure out what you want to transfer. You should start a list and write down what you wnat to transfer over. Don’t write out every document just the basics. For example do you want all your personal documents, pictures and music? All of these will most likely be located under my documents our under your user name in Vista. Do you want to transfer over all your personal settings like user account info, bookmarks and favorites, wallpaper and any other custom setting you may have? What about software profiles like your Outlook mail account.Do you have any software programs that you will need to transfer over becuase you no longer have the disc?

Your Computer to computer file transfer Options are going to depend on what type of answer you gave above. The sad news is if you want to transfer over software programs then you will need to purchasea data migration program. As a rule of thumb you should always install the software you want to use first before doing the transfer. If you do it this way you will know for sure if that program works on the newer operating system and you will cut down on headaches trying to import the custom settings.

If you only have documents, pictures adn music then you have several quick and easy options that are free.If you already have a network setup then you can simply copy and paste over what files you want to transfer. If you do not have a network setup then the next option is to use an external drive like a USB hard drive or thumb drive.
Purchasing an easy to use data transfer program is a great option for those that have trouble moving around computers. for the money it will make your life that much easier.

When it comes to transfering over data you have a ton of option and they all carry their own pros and cons. Finding that most users are unaware of the ways to transfer files from one computer to another, many different options have been created to facilitate the migration of information from one PC to another.

One of the first things to do when trying to transfer files from xp to vista is to figure out what you want to transfer. It always helps to make a quick list of the items you want to transfer over to the new computer. You do not need to write every file name down just the type of files you are going to want to transfer over. For example do you want all your personal documents, pictures and music? All of these will most likely be located under my documents our under your user name in Vista. If you want to tranfer over all your personal settings like bookmarks, wallpaper, user accoutn settings then using a data trasnfer software program is a far easier way to go? What about software profiles like your Outlook mail account. Do you need to transfer over any software programs?

Your PC to PC File Transfer Options are going to depend on what type of answer you gave above. The sad news is if you want to transfer over software programs then you will need to purchasea data migration program. It is good practice to alwasy try and install the software you want to use on the new computer first. If you do it this way you will know for sure if that program works on the newer operating system and you will cut down on headaches trying to import the custom settings.

If you only have documents, pictures adn music then you have several quick and easy options that are free. The easiest is just transferring them over a network if you already have one setup. If not then coping them onto a thumb drive or external driver is the next easiest option.
Purchasing an easy to use data transfer program is a great option for those that have trouble moving around computers. for the money it will make your life that much easier.
