How an astromech droid ever got stuck on crumbs duty I’ll never know, but for just $20.90 you can have this miniature version of R2-D2 (he’s just under 4-inches tall) roaming your desk, sucking up Doritos leftovers. Since it’s powered by one of your PC’s USB ports I’m going to wager it doesn’t have the strongest suction capabilities, which kind of makes me wish Dyson would strike up a partnership with Lucasfilm. An R2-D2 with root cyclone technology? I definitely wouldn’t need Obi-Wan Kenobi’s help when it came to cleaning my apartment.

MIMOBOT’s series 4 brought us the unmasked versions of Darth Vader, along with several other models, and series 5 looks to be just as exciting. There’s the aforementioned Stormtrooper, which randomly comes as Han or Luke, the Jawa, R2-D2, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Each model is available in 2GB to 16GB capacity, and will cost you between $30 to $90.

If last year’s set of Yoda Christmas lights didn’t ‘force’ any holiday cheer on you, I’m sure this R2-D2 version will be more effective. I mean nobody hates R2-D2, so having multiple versions of him strung around your Christmas tree (10 per strand spaced 12 inches apart) is a sure fire way to make the holidays more profitable for Lucasfilm more festive. Supposedly these have been popping up at the likes of Target for some time now, and you can expect to pick up a set for around $15-$25 according to R2D2Central.com.

People, stop everything that you are doing and let me introduce to you the sexiest vacuum of all time: the Dyson DC25 Blueprint. This my, friends, is the epitome of unnecessary but totally rad luxury items. First and foremost, it’s a Dyson DC25 ball vacuum, which is a great vacuum as I found out last year, but this one’s done up in a special edition livery dubbed Blueprint. It’s a white vacuum in case you haven’t noticed which means once you’re done vacuuming, you’re going to have to grab a dust rag and clean this guy too. That’s crazy. And doesn’t it look somewhat like R2-D2? Expect a full review in a week.

Despite cutting a impressive figure at 2.02 meters, having the finest weaponry and starfighters Imperial credits can buy, and controlling the Force, it seems that Darth Vader has gotten stuck on the side of the road.

Dave Prowse was the physical form of Darth Vader for the original Star Wars trilogy, with James Earl Jones as the voice. The BBC reports that Lord Vader was en route to the 501st UK Garrison’s (which ironically is dubbed “Vader’s Fist”) reunion at the National Space Center in Leicester when his car broke down. Traffic officers assisted Lord Vader in getting from the M1 in Northamptonshire to the event. Officer Chapman later remarked, “Meeting Darth Vader is definitely one of the strangest situations I’ve been in.”

The car that Lord Vader was driving also has a interesting bit of history to it. The Mercedes was previously owned by actor Kenny Baker. At only 1.12 Imperial standard meters (which are identical to Earth measurement units), Mr Baker was the man inside R2-D2 for the original trilogy. Lord Vader told the BBC, “He used to keep a little ladder inside the boot so he could climb up and put his suitcases inside. When he had finished, he’d put the ladder back and used a cord to shut the boot. I decided to leave the cord there as a reminder of the car’s previous owner.”
