There are more and more people enrolling in the ranks of World of Warcraft just about every single day. No one can get enough of this online game and there are an abundance of reasons why. In WoW, you can free yourself from the realities of everyday existence. Just take it easy, do a few dailies to generate a little gold, and just have fun with friends – not a bad way to enjoy an evening. And as you do this, you’ll naturally generate gold throughout time.

However, there might come a moment when you want to get a little more out of the time you expend in the game. There are actually goods that cost 20,000 gold, and surely you really want those items. This means that in order to get the most out of your WoW experience, you’ll will have to earn gold as swiftly as possible.

The Fundamentals:

But precisely how do you do this? There are a variety of things to bear in mind when attempting to make gold swiftly in WoW by accomplishing dailies. You most likely may have learned that daily quests award you with gold for completing them. And initially, in WoW, items usually do not cost that much gold to buy. But eventually, those things become outrageously expensive, particularly the best of the best items you’ll want to get when you hit level cap. So, you will need a strategy so that you can afford all the items you wish, if you would like them prior to the end of time.

Focus on Gold:

If you wish to build up a stockpile of gold quickly in WoW, you have to supplement your regular activities with activities developed specifically to make you a lot of gold. Doing dailies is a fantastic way to make a lot of gold quickly. All daily quests pay out gold when you complete them. The secret is to concentrate on the amount of gold every daily gives you when you finish them. It’s also wise to take time into mind when attempting to make gold fast in WoW using dailies. If you can make 200 gold, but it takes you 5 hours to do it, that is not very much gold per hour. There are excellent methods to make a lot of gold per hour, including optimized speed gold dailies runs.

There are a WoW lvl guide that can direct you step-by-step through finishing speed gold dailies runs, among other cool things. Zygor’s Dailies & Events Wow Lvl Guide is truly one of those guides. Save up your gold from accomplishing speed gold dailies runs every single day and you’ll be on your way to making gold fast in WoW and purchasing those steeply-priced items you want.

People put lots of stock in the automobile Black Book, but there is more to vehicles than Black Book value. I should know. I am a used car sales representative, which means that I make my living truthfully appraising and selling vehicles for their value.

It is imperative to know the automobile Black Book rate for used cars, but that isn’t all there is to it. Depending on how well you take care of your car, what repairs and modifications you make, and even what climate you live in, the automobile Black Book value can be way off. The car can be worth part of what it should be, or worth two times the book value for used cars. It all depends.

Auto Black Book for used cars is a great estimate, but it is just that. People look at the automobile Black Book like it is the Holy Bible. If they can locate a car that’s 300 bucks under the automobile Black Book value, they think they have gotten a deal. If they find a car that’s just a couple hundred bucks over it, they won’t even think about it. What they don’t realize is that the more pricey car may be more pricey for a reason.

It doesn’t matter what the automobile Black Book says, if you change your oil regularly, drive your car carefully and slowly, and live in a local climate without harsh winters, it may well be worth more than the listed used car value. Similarly, a fairly new car can be so worn down that the automobile Black Book value is a joke. It is going to be worth hardly a small percentage of what the book says it’s worth. Even if it looks great on the outside, it will be worn out on the inside. Truthfully, the automobile Black Book value is a great place to start looking, but it isn’t the full story. Only a competent and qualified mechanic can tell you the real realities about the car that you are looking at.

Auto Black Book, after all, tells you how likely a particular make is to keep its worth and continue running, but it doesn’t tell you a thing about any particular car. Only a thorough inspection, both outside and in, can determine that. I don’t mean that you ought to look at it carefully. I mean that you ought to have a mechanic check out the motor, the wheels, the shocks, the brake pads, and all of the other imperative parts.

Deciding to be an armed, licensed civilian is serious business. Mature, sound judgment and preparation in every facet of this decision must be exercised. And doing so is not cheap, its not convenient, it requires a perishable skill set, and its complicated by many legalities. Also expect you, the armed civilian, to be completely misrepresented by the media, lambasted and characterized as a fringe, paranoid, and borderline un-safe person. Hogwash. But that flak you’ll get does not change the realities of you choosing to be legally armed. Nutnfancy says YOU do incur an “Obligation of Carry” if you decide to walk society as a CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon) or CCP (Pistol) individual. You absolutely must have your gun on you to the maximum extent possible…no joke. Yes there are places where being armed is illegal and inappropriate but there are lot of places where it is not. In fact most places, at least in the US. In this video Nutnfancy addresses the biggest folly of most guys and gals who have gone to the effort of licensing and buying their pistol for legal carry: they just do not carry it. Why is that? Chances are they have chosen a bad system (Nutnfancy term) of carry. Perhaps a bulky or heavy gun that requires special dress and carriage that rapidly becomes so taxing that its soon left at home. I’ve seen this phenomena MANY times over many years: big talk about a big gun but soon that big gun is left at home and by doing so that CCW holder has abandoned his …

“We’re making significant progress every day with product refinements, the completion of engineering and design details, and securing meaningful strategic partnerships,” says Wilbur. “However, we now have to adjust our production schedule to align with financing realities. Properly managing the resources of the company means we’ll complete our first vehicles in 2010, not by the end of 2009 as previously projected.

“Aptera management is being a prudent steward of all resources to ensure future viability for the company and strong returns for its stakeholders. Therefore, we’ll begin volume production vehicles once our current series of private funding has closed or when we secure financing through the Department of Energy’s Advanced Technology Vehicle loan program, whichever comes first.”

You can’t hate on the company when it’s clearly taking a cautious approach. No one is buying cars right now anyway.

A recent email from Optimized Cable Company founder David French boasts about the company’s prices and customer service. But when it comes to HDMI cables, customer service isn’t really applicable for a relatively knowledgeable guy like me, except for order follow-ups and defective item returns. So the real question is about OCC’s prices: would you pay $25 for a 15-foot HDMI cable?

Courtesy Optimized Cable Company

To be sure, 15 feet should be enough for any home theater/computer setup. That length allows enough slack to twist, tuck and fasten for maximum neatness. Go to NewEgg however and you’ll find 6-foot cables that go for around $5. The cost of shipping may actually be more expensive than the product itself. Searching for 25 foot HDMI cables returns listings going for as low as $20.

These pricing realities leave me unconvinced about OCC’s usefulness. Perhaps the company’s special gold-plated cables do last longer and cause less signal interference. Unfortunately though, most customers just want to connect their PS3s to their HDTVs—at the lowest price possible.

Maybe OCC should make a compelling case that spending a bit more (or in some cases, a lot more) will bring long-lasting quality? Detailed longevity evidence on the company website would pique my interest, because I’d rather pay more for a reliable HDMI cable that lasts for years.

OCC’s wide array of home entertainment cables and adapters looks appealing, because the latter covers practically any port x to port y scenario. Those DisplayPort options are probably interesting for Mac users. In the meantime though, I’d rather pay $20 for a 25-foot HDMI cable. What about you?

Simply put: You’ll have to rely on expensive “solutions” which create more problems than they solve.

Courtesy Village Tronic

A review of the Village Tronic ViBook mysteriously calls the USB graphics extender “a good option” for those who want to power a secondary display with their PC, laptop, or netbook. To the reviewer’s credit though, he realizes that there are ways to do this for less than the ViBook’s $129 price, including just getting a PCI or PCIe graphics card for a desktop.

It’s clear that the ViBook is perfect for owners of portable computers that don’t feature VGA-out, specifically netbooks like the HP Mini 1000. Unfortunately, like other USB graphics extenders, Village Tronic’s product is very demanding on the CPU. Granted, some netbook processors are powerful enough to handle the load—which, according to the review, can go as high as 95% on a Core 2 Duo laptop. But guess what a constantly high load does for battery life? (Answer: cut it down significantly)

These realities limit the ViBook to a very niche market—netbooks that don’t support an extra monitor out-of-the-box—and makes it an impractical solution for even this market, as a USB graphics extender would put too much strain on a netbook’s limited capabilites. In short, just avoid all the trouble, and support netbooks that come with its own VGA-out port. Nothing sends a better message to manufacturers than ignoring portables that require you to purchase a separate adapter just to get it working with a second display or projector.
