It’s not possible straight?, April 10, 2011
Through Greg Silva

Short, fast review. Seems like a great TV(we have a Samsung 50″ plasma as well), trust Samsung, etc, but the TV isn’t straight in the stand. Low on the left(or high for the right), and I can’t determine why. Not a deal breaker or anything, but really doesn’t make sense to my opinion. Looks like I have to shim it up in that side….

Once you hit the ability button you won’t want to turn it off. This simply looks brilliant. Everything makes sense while in the remote control and it is nice that it possesses the added “lighted” feature in the event the room is dark and you are trying to find a particular switch. The apps are a pleasant to have, especially Netflix which usually streams in HD. A major leap from streaming this on my Wii together with 4: 3 aspect rate. Very happy with purchase though it was about $500 over I was planning on paying. Worth every penny thought. And I was required to order a Samsung Pink Ray player. Plug it in also it all works and synchs seamlessly.

I purchased this TV about per month ago and I enjoy it! Probably the biggest highlight will be the image quality- sharpness & perfection. Ultra clear, ultra highly detailed and ultra bright. The images find a way to coming alive! For the last year I have been considering an upgrade from the 32″ LCD flat panel I’ve had to the last 4 years. Vizio was really the only option I was taking into account due their value as well as picture quality. I then saw the Samsung UN46D6050 and the simple yet elegant design of the LCD-LED made me consider again. Even with the facility turned off- it is known for a striking character about it.

What is the best way of finding the cheapest Samsung 50″ HDTV?

Posted by on Tuesday, 25 May, 2010

I looked online for good deals but haven’t really seen anything under $800. But I’m pretty sure it’s out there, but if I get it online I would like it to be from a place that has an outlet in Austin (where I live) in case I have to return it.
Any suggestions how to efficiently look for a 48″ to 52″ HDTV hopefully Samsung or Sony.
