Would you like to connect Outlook to a Web-based email account? If so, there are lots of options. Many huge companies, like Yahoo!, Microsoft, and Google offer free web-based email accounts, as do dozens, even hundreds of smaller companies. But most people choose to make a Gmail Outlook connection.

Not all free accounts are suitable for use with Outlook. That’s why the top choice for most people is to connect Google’s Gmail with Outlook. Once you have a Gmail account, it only takes a few minutes to set up and configure the Gmail Outlook connection.

This allows you to use Outlook to read messages sent to your Gmail account. It also allows you to send messages from Outlook that use your Gmail address.

Why select Gmail rather than some other kind of email account that supports IMAP? Accessibility and money. Some webmail services solely work with their own Internet page, and block access from e-mail programs.

Other services, like Yahoo Mail, allow you to connect to Outlook, but you have to pay them a monthly or yearly fee to make the connection. With those services, the free versions of the email account need to be upgraded to a paying version to enable the connection.

Only a few services allow you to connect to Outlook without a fee. Google’s Gmail is the biggest and best-known of this elite group.

With Gmail, you get a massive amount of space (measured in GB) of mail storage right on Google’s servers. Gmail also provides powerful search capabilities when you search your mail through the web interface (basically doing a Google search on your own email).

Google supports the Gmail service with advertising, but you only see the ads when you use your Gmail account with your web browser, not when you use Gmail with Outlook. If you haven’t yet chosen an email service, or if you are already a Gmail user, making the Gmail Outlook connection is the obvious way to go.

{There are a reasonable number of steps necessary to make the Gmail Outlook connection, but in my experience, virtually anyone can make the connection with the help of these Outlook How To instructions.

Most assumed Apple or Google would be the digital media giants to first implement cloud-based music streaming, so it surprised quite a few folks when Amazon actually made the first move.

Some have pointed out that smaller companies have done similar cloud-based media lockers or music streaming services and perhaps we shouldn’t be impressed. But no one said what Amazon did was a major technological feat. In fact, the sheer number of startups who have actually done cloud storage and streaming shows that it’s not the technology that’s been the stumbling block — it’s the potential legal and business complications.

And that’s exactly why Amazon’s move was a big deal: The company decided that it was going to do it now and apologize later, assuming the sheer momentum and force of its will would be enough.

So while the company doesn’t have a first mover advantage in the technology sense, by moving first among the large digital media goliaths, Amazon has essentially established itself as digital and cloud media’s alpha dog.

In fact, you could argue Amazon’s behavior is part of a pattern, one which shows the company moving ever more aggressively, playing somewhat fast and loose with the rules (both in legal and business terms), in an effort to establish itself before its competitors or spurned partner reacts, by which time the company’s seeded the market.

Some examples of Amazon’s alpha-dogness:

The brower-purchase option on iOS devices. This way of skirting Apple’s app store was genius, and of course it was too good to last. But by the time Apple implemented its in-app purchase rule, Amazon had already established itself in a big way with Kindle for iPad.

Going DRM-free first. Remember, while Apple still dominants music sales, Amazon made itself a player (and grabbed second-place market share) by dropping DRM on its MP3s, a pretty radical move at the time.

App store with Test-Drive. By creating its own app store, Amazon not only ticked off Apple by using the term, but more importantly it decided to create an app store that was a real alternative to iTunes for apps as well as music.

Kindle e-book pricing strategies. Make no doubt, Kindle and Amazon’s e-book efforts to disintermediate publishers is by far their biggest move, as well as their aggressive moves to drop e-book pricing (which created the agency-model revolt that Apple helped along with iBooks)

Sure, these are disparate group of initiatives, but I think they’re all largely connected. In fact, the more recently aggressive behavior by Amazon in cloud streaming and app stores was a result of Apple’s app-store rules, something I speculated in February would result in Amazon looking to create an iTunes alternative, something which look to be fully intent on creating.

And while Amazon may be showing the most aggressive behavior of all the big digital media giants, there’s no doubt the other big dogs will bite back, and no doubt its likely to happen soon.

Owning a small business in today’s economy can be a challenge no matter how long the company has been around. People are not spending the money that they used to and heaven forbid any equipment goes on the disabled list. When the printer goes out, there is no need to take out a small business loan to replace it. Instead, get the Okidata C5300 Printer to save your small business some money.

It is more difficult for companies that do not have the means for storage to be able to save all of their files. A corporation does not have these limitations as they can afford to purchase all of the high tech gadgets that can keep their files in order and do not always have to print everything out. This is the reason why many smaller companies have to rely heavily on their printers and cannot be without one for any length of time.

Most small businesses do not have the funds for more than one printer and the Okidata C5300 Printer is the perfect option as it can be networked and used by all of the employees. This feature is a huge plus when there is only one printer available in the office and everyone needs to use it. Even those who do not have a great deal of computer experience can easily set up this printer for networking.

Companies do not have to worry about their employees standing around waiting for their documents to print. Laser printers tend to print much faster than inkjet printers so the documents come out much quicker. Once the documents are sent to print, they are usually done by the time the staff is at the printer to retrieve them.

While being able to print quickly is a definite advantage, there is less toner usage per cartridge and document than other printers on the market today. This means less changing of the toner and more printing for less money for the company. An Okidata toners package will last up to a full thirty days without needing to be replaced and in some cases longer.

There is no lack in quality even though the printer is so speedy when creating documents with this printer. No matter what media is used, it prints with great quality and there is no blurring of photographs or high color graphics. Every person who sees the quality offered with this printer will be amazed.

When it comes to time management, the Okidata C5300 Printer with Okidata replacement toner offers so much for any small company because the employees do not have to wait long for their documents to be printed. Another plus is that the Oki C5300 printer toner lasts a long time so it does not need to be changed as frequently. This saves employee time and time lost when documents are not printed in a timely manner because of the lack of toner. Get your small business on track by having this printer networked for all your employees.

Let me start from the beginning… There is a new book, available from FreeStuffExposed, which shows you how to get free latest gadgets delivered to your door. These latest gadgets deal could be anything, from video games, games consoles and accessories, through to mobile phones, laptops, PCs, widescreen TVs and plenty more.

So how does it work? Get More about Latest Gadgets Below

Well, the author of the book has discovered and documented an incredible loophole in modern marketing. All you have to do is put yourself in the right place at the right time, and you can be one of the people who receives those gifts.

They gadgets are free because the big companies with big marketing budgets effectively use their money to buy them for you!

If that sounds crazy, well… fair enough. It does sound a bit crazy, and I was skeptical when I first heard about it. But after downloading the book, I’m a converted man! It’s real, it’s legal, and it’s happening all over the world already.

Whenever we want to buy a new or used car, we often will be baffled by all the offers. Do we just look in the local media or do we try one of those dealers that sell all kinds of different models? Well, the easiest thing to do is to contact a dealer who can look out for what is wanted and in good time. For example, if an internet search is done, put in ‘Buick NJ’, ‘GMC NJ’ or ‘Buick in NJ’ to see the amount of dealers which can fulfill these requirements in the local area.

But it is not merely finding the right dealer which brings us our ideal car. Service is very important, of course, but there are other things which may appeal to us. The large outlets sometimes get a bit impersonal so perhaps a smaller company can offer the kind of service that we need. The way smaller companies handle their clients is vastly different from those faceless corporations so this may just be what the buyer is looking for. After all, no one wants to feel that they are only valued for the commissions that they bring.

Check out the service department and ask questions on the cars that are on sale; how many miles they have done and perhaps if any parts have been replaced etc. By getting a feel for how these questions are answered, the buyer can then make up his mind about them. Also check out for any special offers like ‘lube for life’ on certain makes of cars which will have some effects on the running costs. Great credit deals and maybe a free valet service also attract people so look for the offers before buying.

Naturally, local outlets may be the best ones to deal with too since they will have to have a good reputation with the locals. When buying a car from them, they should have the full history of the car and may well be able to buy it back in part exchange once a new model is sought. If all the servicing is done with the same outlet too, they are far more likely to give a good rate on the exchange than on one which has a dubious service history. But of course, the modern way to search for that new or used car these days is to start bys surfing on the net. Once a great dealer has been found it is very easy to see what they have to offer by searching their site. On the other hand, certain parameters can be entered so that a list of available cars within that range will be listed quite easily.

This is great for people who have a very specific choice in mind and who just do not have the time to look in several venues. But whatever the reason, this is still a great way to see what is available in any outlet even if it is the same chain of dealers all clustered in the same area.

Asphalt Pavers are just some of the most original looking machines that you’re going to see on a road construction project. This is the machine that does exactly what the name says, it paves asphalt. Unlike a slide steer or a backhoe loader, the kind of contractors that actually own one of these machines specialize in a unique business. There’s a large investment in turning into a paving contractor and that keeps out many smaller companies and leave an elite few in an area that will be paving with an asphalt paver.

Some of the investment includes what is referred to as a hot plant. This is the area where the assorted aggregates will be mixed, heated, and turned into what’s going to be laid on the roads we drive. Sometimes these hot plants will be in one permanent location and often these hot plants will be mobile and ready to move nearer to where the asphalt paver will be working. The aggregates and mix that are put into the hot plant to be mixed are also inputs that corporations who pave may own. If these corporations own the rock and the hot plant they can control a lot of their expenses and be more competitive in the market. Asphalt Paver

The options and variety on Asphalt pavers is wide spread but there are a few major things on this machine that can be picked out as major options when looking out for a machine. One is the screed heat. The screed is the area where the asphalt will move across before its laid onto the ground. The asphalt must be heated to an actual formula and this screed is what will keep the asphalt at the optimum heat level. There are 2 main methods to heat a screed on an asphalt paver, one being diesel heat and the other being electrical heat. The industry is quickly moving from utilizing diesel heated screeds to electric heated screeds as the temperature can be controlled more accurately. That having been said however there are still some parts of the country that continue to use diesel heated screeds. Asphalt Paver

The other main option on an Asphalt Paver is where you hook the screed onto the paver. You can either run with the screed on the front or rear. This is called a front mounted screed or a rear mounted screed. Lots of this call comes from the paving corporations experience and what their paving crew is utilized to using. Infrequently it also relies on the logistics of the job site and how the lorries with the asphalt can get to the paver to load it.

If you haven’t heard of it already, where have you been?! The “Free Stuff Exposed” book is rocking across the internet, showering people with freebies left, right and center.

Let me start from the beginning… There is a new book, available from www.freegadgetreviews.com, which shows you how to get free gadgets delivered to your door. These gadgets could be anything, from video games, games consoles and accessories, through to mobile phones, laptops, PCs, widescreen TVs and plenty more.

There’s no contracts, no fees, no credit checks and no hidden charges. They are not stolen, bootleg, broken or samples. They are brand new, exactly as you would get in a shop or from an online store like Amazon, and you get to keep them forever.

So how does it work?

Well, the author of the book has discovered and documented an incredible loophole in modern marketing. Basically, huge companies are throwig money around to try and promote themselves and their products. Other, smaller companies take that money and using it to buy you gifts.

Thousands of people are manipulating the system and squeezing free XBoxes, iPhones, Wiis, widescreen TVs, laptops and more out of these big companies.

And you can too.

I strongly recommend that you check out www.freegadgetreviews.com right now. If you want a new phone, another video game, a new console or a brand new laptop or TV (or pretty much any other gadget you can think of), this is the way you can get it for free. It’s simple to do, and once you’ve read the book you can get started in minutes.

I’m sure you will though. Who doesn’t like free stuff? Check it out now. You won’t be sorry!

Discover How To Get 100% Free Games Consoles, Mobile Phones, Laptops And Even Widescreen TVs!

Free Stuff Exposed comes with a full money back guarantee if you’re not satisfied for a whopping 60 days, so you’ve got plenty of time to try it out to see if you like it. I’m sure you will though. Who doesn’t like free stuff? Check it out now. You won’t be sorry!

Short version: There’s lots to like, but not much unique, about this mouse from relative newcomer Mionix. And if it can’t beat the others on price…

Features:

Ergonomic right-handed design
5040 DPI laser sensor
7 buttons
On-board profiles and macro settings
MSRP: ~$90

Pros:

Comfortable shape
Excellent configuration software
Tracking is solid

Cons:

Trackwheel seems a little stiff
Doesn’t really offer anything other mice don’t

It’s not hard to find a good gaming mouse these days. Microsoft, Razer, Logitech, and quite a few smaller companies all have compelling products, and it’s difficult to recommend one over the other since what fits your hand is very much a matter of personal preference. It’s amazing what tiny differences can do for usability. For example, when I was contacted about reviewing this Naos 5000, I immediately thought, “Wow, that looks exactly like the Cyber Snipa.” I mean, not exactly, but the layout and shape is very similar. But despite the close similarity, I found the Naos 5000 far more comfortable, and it’s hard to say exactly why.

The shape is aggressively molded for a right-handed person, and there are separate shelves or ripples in the mold for your thumb, ring finger, and pinky. I have medium-sized hands and I found that the Naos 5000 fit almost exactly, though of course your mileage may vary. The placement of the thumb buttons is good; your thumb rests on the shelf immediately below, but has quick access to the buttons with only a slight movement. The main buttons are very sensitive and clicky — almost too much so, since I found myself often right clicking on accident because of the way my hand’s weight rested. The DPI up and down buttons are easily reached as well, and can of course be reprogrammed to something else if you’re not a sensitivity tweaker like me.

My only issue was really with the scroll wheel, which has a stiff, notched feel to its rotation that feels like coarse vibration when you’re scrolling up and down any distance. I actually started having to scroll with my middle finger instead of my index because it felt like it was going to vibrate my fingernail right off if I kept on the way I was going. Loosen up, guys.

The configuration software, while technically “optional,” was a joy to use. It’s attractive and effective, though it takes forever to apply changes. You can create several profiles, something I never have had a use for, but some no doubt like it, and it keeps the information on the on-board memory. This is handy when you have multiple gaming systems or switch between multiple mice, as I do.

Tracking was good, though it depended a lot on the surface. My cloth mousepad gave the Naos trouble with small movements, but my steel desk and hard mousepad had no problems at all. The drivers include a surface analysis tool that tells you how reliable the mouse’s signal is. I got by with “acceptable” but you don’t have to.

Conclusion

Well, what we have here is a perfectly nice mouse with a great feature set, but which nonetheless doesn’t really offer anything new. To compound the problem, it costs $90 at the moment. I simply can’t recommend it at that price, since you can get a Death Adder, G500, or Sidewinder for far less, which all perform as well. If Mionix can get the price down, I think they have a good chance at making some serious sales against the big guys, but right now it’s just too expensive.
