Click KeyPad Watch is the timewasting retro-timepiece you’ve been waiting for

Posted by on Wednesday, 14 December, 2011
We do like a good indecipherable timepiece ’round these parts and Click’s KeyPad certainly fits the bill. Resembling an old-school mechanical numerical keypad, each button packs an LED — press any number and it’ll blink out the time in single digits, so if it was 9:15am, the zero, nine, one and five buttons would flash in sequence. Push the hash key and the watch will oblige you for today’s date. If you enjoy frustrating colleagues who ask you for the time, then you’ll be delighted to hear that it costs and is shipping now. However, we’re not sure we could pull one off — maybe the hipster down the street will have better success.

Kisai Rogue Touch Pocket Watch from Tokyoflash keeps things dapper, semi-hard to decipher (video)

Posted by on Thursday, 8 December, 2011
Yeah, we’re well aware that our fascination with unique and multi-hued timpieces may be more of an obesession. Well, you can add another to the list with the Kisai Rogue Touch Pocket Watch from Tokyoflash. Enclosed by a stainless steel case with brushed edges, the timekeeper makes use of a LCD display with LED backlights in your choice of four color options. The watch’s face is protected by a spring-hinged cover and crystal lens. You’ll notice a similar dial design to that of the Rogue Touch of the wrist wrapping variety, as this watch also sports four hot-zones for switching between modes. Capable of displaying two time zones, along with date and an alarm, the pocket watch uses an animation to monitor the hours instead of those clunky mechanized arms. If you’re wanting a closer look hit the gallery below, and to see the timepiece in action, peep the video just past the break.

Posted by on Tuesday, 1 March, 2011

If you’re like us, you don’t mind working that grey matter to tell the time, especially if the watch your wearing looks and acts like something ripped from the U.S.S. Enterprise. The Timescape Sci-Fi watch, thus named for its cryptic time telling interface, sports a chrome exterior and uses a series of blue LEDs to illuminate a rectangular grid, giving you unique temporal readouts. Each line contains a series of dots representing minutes or hours, with the vertical lines displaying hours, the first three horizontal lines showing five-minute increments, and the last row offering exact minutes. Sound complicated? Well it is, but sometimes looking good takes a little work — you think Uhura rolls out of bed looking like that? The Timescape Sci-Fi watch is now on sale exclusively from Gadgets and Gear for , but if you just like staring at shiny flashy things, we’ve got a video of the timepiece after the jump.

Gucci Watch – Why People Buy Gucci Men’s Watch

Posted by on Monday, 23 August, 2010

Gucci is not only one of the worlds most famous fashion houses, it is also one of the oldest. They began to trade back in 1920; this was when the owner founded it. Their business was helped along by the fact that fashion has slowly become a more important part of most peoples lives. There are a plethora of excellent watches available today, but Gucci watches are associated with class and quality. Many deem the fantastic range they offer to be amongst the best in the world. Not only do they offer extremely well priced watches, they also sell a large number of extravagant and opulent ones too.

The fashion label commenced early in the last century. The founder, Guccio Gucci, started the company after a brief visit to England’s capital London. The trip had shown him many beautiful sights and tastes, and taught him that people would be happy to pay for elegant and exquisite products. These kinds of products were on display everywhere in the city of London, from the luxury hotels to the designer boutiques.

The company began soon after he returned home from London. In the beginning, the only items sold were luxury leather suitcases. Over time, however, they were to become one amongst the biggest and most powerful fashion houses in the business. There are very few people who do not own, or have at least heard of, the Gucci name. Gucci and a large number of other Italian names slowly began to take over the fashion business. Italy as a country gradually began to be associated with fashion.

As a company, they began to retail watches at a slightly later date. This was brought about by the gradual growth of the Italian economy. In the beginning, the Gucci watches were mainly retailed across Italy, however, they soon began to grow outside of Italy and it was not long before they were selling many of them around the rest of Europe, and the world too. Buying a luxury timepiece was, and still is, something that many people did when they began to earn good money. It was a way to portray their wealth, and also a great fashion accessory.

The quality of the materials used to construct the magnificent timepiece was very high. The finest Italian leather was used to create the straps for them. The more popular metal watches were, and still are, crafted from stainless steel, silver and gold, sometimes even platinum. The highest end of their range even includes precision cut jewels, such as diamonds and sapphires. These pieces are only purchased by the extremely rich. Many celebrities and even royalty are known to wear the Gucci watch.

Gucci prides itself on having a wide and varied range of watches, something to fit everyone’s different taste. The watch styled in the shape of the Gucci emblem, the letter G., was designed simply and without extravagance, as this is what most people prefer. To this day this watch is one of their best selling pieces. The simple design has allowed them to retail it without change for many years, even though it has not been changed, it still remains near the top of their sales list.

The large majority of people see the G watch as Gucci`s signature piece. They have a male and a female version, the male option just being slightly larger than the female one. The classic design is one that has, over the years, become synonymous with Gucci. They pride themselves on never trying too hard.

As with all purchases now there are a number of different ways to buy Gucci men’s watch. They have so many different stores that stock them, along with their own stores, it can be tricky to know where to start. It is often best to visit the stores directly to try on the man’s watch before buying. The lowest prices can be found online though, so this is the best place to actually make your purchase.
