A View Of The Toshiba Regza 32AV615DB

If you are looking for a smaller television that can fit into a smaller space but still liven up the room and bring you good quality, you might want to look into purchasing the Toshiba 32AV615DB for its size and quality picture.

This also probably a good model for those who are looking for a good quality picture in a flat screen television but they don’t want to have to put out a lot of money on one. Not everyone can afford some of the price tags that are on some of these flat screens, so the Toshiba 32AV615DB again might fit the bill, with its lower than average price tag.

The Toshiba 32AV615DB is considered HD ready although it does not come with 1080p resolution, instead it comes with 720p resolution. Some critics might feel that this is not truly HD ready since it is not at 1080p, but HD requires a minimum of 720p to be able to work properly. So if resolution is not high on your list, then the 720p will work just fine, and for the price it is worth it.

If you are a huge movie buff, then another drawback to this particular television will probably be the fact that it will not play back the Blue Ray DVDs that are now becoming common. But if renting or buying movies that are of the Blue Ray style then this should be no problem for you.

Those who are really into gaming and that would be the reason you might want to get an HD flat screen, might not want to get the Toshiba 32AV615DB. It is not that you can not play games on it, it is just that the processor is only 50Hz as compared to 100Hz which is far more desirable for those who are really into playing a variety of high action games.

In order for you to be able to enjoy this televisions outstanding picture quality, it will take some time to achieve it. Once you have taken it out of its container and figured out where to display it, you will then more than likely have to work with the controls for a while in order to get the quality picture that you expect from the Toshiba 32AV615DB. After all the adjusting has been complete, you will find that the color on this television is life like as any other on the market and the contrast and clarity of the picture is of the highest quality possible nearly as good as those with higher price tags.

For an HDTV with just 720p, you would not expect as many inputs that it does. There is enough inputs to be able to run all of your external entertainment devices from this smaller television. It also includes a computer plug in and RCA port. There are also three HMDI ports, S video so you can use the screen as your computer monitor, two SCARTS and two RGB ports. Incredibly equipped for a lower end model.

Introducing The Toshiba Regza 32AV615DB

The Toshiba Regza 32AV615DB Product Review

Coming to appreciate the Toshiba 32AV615DB television is easy enough to do once one learns of its very nice price, for one thing. Of late, this particular Japanese manufacturer of televisions has been seeking to make a mark in the UK market, though it is up against other strong sellers. However, if this TV is an indicator, it’s going to do quite well in making a name for itself, especially with its price and the level of features it offers.

Coming in at 32 inches, this LCD TV seeks to bring good-quality pictures that surpass those of other TVs of similar price. Currently, a number of retailers in the UK are selling this TV for under 400 British pounds with the value added tax included. This nice, attractive price is probably more than enough to convince many budget purchasers that this television is the model to go for, under certain circumstances.

It needs to be said that the television itself is not what would be called full high definition. Rather, it is just slightly below that, in that it’s displaying a picture resolution at 1366x768p, which is just one step below full high definition at 1080p. Viewers need not worry, though; because the picture still looks excellent and will continue to remain so through all sorts of motion conditions.

The television is also trim, weighing in at only 12 kg, which means that it can be picked up and moved about very easily. It looks, also, to be intended for use in a flat or apartment or, at most, a medium-sized room. At this, the television works quite well as intended, which is that it be a second television and not the primary TV in the household. Price reflects that, it seems.

Technologically speaking, the Toshiba features 3 standard HDMI inputs, an S-video port, a nice audio in and an integrated analog tuner for those people not picking up digital signals as yet. There is no Freesat capability offered on this particular model, which may not be a concern if the television is used as its maker obviously intends it to be (a second TV). Freesat is a way to pick up, in the United Kingdom, free high definition satellite channels.

Motion control is accomplished through use of a 50 Hz control engine, and in this television it works quite well to eliminate noticeable judder or artifacts left on the screen after the motion or action has moved on. This is something that many LCD TVs have a problem with, though this Toshiba deals with it quite well. Find Toshiba 32AV615DB reviews at 32AV615DB , 32AV615DB Review and 32AV615DB Prices

From directly out-of-the box, the Toshiba looks very nice. It seems to have a minimalist design that is immediately pleasing to the eye, which many televisions at this price range aren’t really capable of delivering. There is also a nice menu delivered on the screen that is easy to figure out and manipulate. When in operation, the standard 720p Blu-Ray display also looks very good, sharp and clear. This is particularly impressive, considering this television’s retail price.

Coming to appreciate the Toshiba 32AV615DB is easy enough to do, especially for those who have an eye on their purchase budget and are on the hunt for a second TV that can deliver good quality pictures for a very reasonable price. In fact, this particular Toshiba meets or exceeds all of those criteria quite nicely, even though it might not offer a few features that one finds in televisions that cost much more. It will fit in very nicely in just about any flat or apartment, in fact, which seems to be what it was designed for.

Hands-on with the Toshiba Regza SV670 LED HDTV

Let’s start with Toshiba’s ad that looks like it came straight out of the early 90s. Pretty boring if you ask me. Aside from that the SV670 is quite stunning. For one thing, the 55-inch model would take up my entire living room and I’d be happy to watch from the next room. I can’t say too much about the local dimming and simulated 240Hz because all the Toshiba sets were looping the same video of the Rose Gardens in Portland, OR. The Deep Lagoon design might seem gimmicky, but when you’re in the store staring at hundreds of black trimmed TVs on the wall, the Regza is going to catch your eye. I can’t give it a proper “hands-on” because it didn’t seem to be calibrated correctly because the ZV650 seemed to be properly calibrated and the color on that particular set blew away the SV670. I was thoroughly impressed with Toshiba’s lineup that was re-announced today, but I’ll reserve final judgment until I’ve had proper time with each. In the meantime, check out the photos.
