Tracfone is a MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) which means it does not own its own network. They buy minutes from all the major cell telephone networks like Alltel, Verizon, AT&T Mustang Softwares and T-Mobile instead of building it’s own cellular network. When you are using this telephone in the AT&T area you can send pictures. If you are roaming with this cellphone you cannot send or receive AT&T 8525 Softwares. You can still take them as long as your memory is not full.

The LG 225 is a Single Rate Cellphone

Roaming, long distance, and even International Long distance could be the same rate, one unit per minute, as local calls with this Single Rate Tracfones. The older phones charged two units per minute when you were roaming. This varies from cellphone model to phone model but almost all of the newer phones offered are single rate.

Web Access

This cellphone can be used for web AT&T SMT5700 Softwares as long as you are in AT&T coverage area. If you are not in AT&T coverage area you will not be able to use the web access on this cellphone. Tracfone allows web access of a very small slice of the internet.

Other features on the TracFone Samsung T301g include: a .3 megapixel VGA camera, 128 MB of built-in memory, Bluetooth, speakerphone & MMS messaging. If you’re looking for a messaging phone, this is not for you. While it’s possible to text, this handset is mainly meant for talking. The camera works fine, but takes pretty grainy photos. If you can get this one cheap enough, it may be worth your while – otherwise, I would move on to other models.
