Do you know anything about digital cameras? Many people think that we can use our digital camera to capture many nice images without using any other accessories. However, in my opinion, we still need some accessories to help us in photo taking so that we can enhance the quality of the images. Therefore, I will write about the three most important accessories for us to use together with digital camera to get the best image.

These are not listed in any specific order and I do not assume in any order of value either although if you were to push me for an answer, I would place a tripod as my number one accessory. It will also rely on what kind of photography you are pursuing as to which one will be number one to you. They are, however, accessories that I would list as important to the gear bag of a photographer.

1. A tripod
If you do not already have a tripod then get yourself one. Find the most expensive one you can afford. A proper solid tripod is important to the kit of a photographer. There are a number of locations when light conditions are not good and the additional stability helps you make crisp, sharp images. Just a little camera shake will cause blurring to some degree in the final image. A tripod is particularly effectivewhen shooting close-ups of flowers and small creatures and helps you to have complete control of your images.

2. Remote shutter release
This is coupled with the tripod and is important when avoiding camera shake. Even when your camera is mounted on the tripod, the most basic action like pushing the shutter button can still trigger camera shake and prevent you from taking the sharpest images. It works very simply either connected by a cable to the camera or using an infrared connection to activate the shutter.

3. A good circular polarising filter
A polarising filter cuts down glare and reflections off shiny surfaces. Those of you who have ever owned or used a pair of polaroid sunglasses will understand the effect that it has on shiny and reflective surfaces. This includes foliage as well. When using polaroid sunglasses while looking at water you are able to see below the surface if the water is clear. The sky becomes bluer and the green vegetation greener. If you are landscape photographer you will really benefit from a polariser. I think about this essential. One tip though is that you should always use one that has the parallel or higher quality of your lens. There is no point in putting bad glass in front of good glass.

Summing up, I will suggest you to own all three important accessories that I have stated above. Those accessories can really help you to get the best image quality. However, if you are not afford to purchase all three, you can choose one of them that serve your particular needs the best. Have fun with your digital camera.

I love to capture photo especially by using digital SLR camera. However, mastering dSLR camera is not an easy task for me as a newbie. Therefore, I have done a lot of research on it. I wish to share those knowledge with you all. Frankly, it is really useful for me to master photography well.

1) ISO is one of the most important features on SLR cameras, many beginners have no idea about it. It stands for International Organization for Standardization, and it used to have to be based upon film rate. In general terms, ISO will allow you to improve your photos in poor conditions. For example, in a dark room, you can improve the quality of your photo greatly by increasing the ISO setting. SLR cameras generally allow you to enhance the ISO setting to 1600.

Usually, it is difficult for us to take photo at night as the photo will become very blur. This is because the camera lens is opened on an automatic setting, which takes too long to avoid movement of the user’s hand. This produces a blur image. When you enhance the ISO setting, the amount of time the lens open is reduced, therefore reducing the blur. Every time you move slightly, your photo will be blurred. ISO helps solve this problem. Experiment a bit and find the right ISO setting for different situations.

2) Mount the camera. Well, I don’t exactly mean mount, but place it on somewhere. If you find yourself in a situation where the photos are blurry even after enhancing the ISO setting, put the camera on something. You can put it on a table, chair, etc… This will improve the stability of the camera, thus creating a much less blurry picture.

3) Buy a good tripod. Never try to save money when buying a tripod. Cheap ones will break fast, and you will be out buying a new one in no time. Furthermore, cheap ones will not function properly. By this I mean that they will not put your camera at the correct angle, will move due to wind, and so on. Pay good money for a tripod, and you will see that you will get your money worth. Manfrotto is known for making some of the finest tripods, so definitely have a look at those. A good tripod should have a ball head, should be quite light, and would be best if it is easy to store (possibly in your backpack).

In summary, digital SLR camera is not very hard to use in photo taking. We can capture a high quality photo by using dSLR camera if we have some knowledge about how to use it effectively. There are many websites that can help us in mastering dSLR camera. Go and search for it..

A camera bag is ideal; since it keeps all your gear all together and allows you to take everything with you.

The whole thing in its place.

A good quality camera bag will let you organize a miniature tripod, spare batteries, memory cards, etc. – including a plastic bag or rainproof housing to safeguard your camera in wet weather.

2. Hold Your Camera Steady

Unclear photographs are almost always the result of camera movement. This is frequently known as camera shake.

It could be the result of the breeze, protracted shutter speeds, vibrations of near by cars…any quantity of stuff! Merely your own shakiness, can cause the camera to shake enough to blur the photos.

Brace yourself plus your camera before you shooting the photograph.

Fix your feet securely upon the ground as well as fold your elbows in close to your sides.

Instead of working with the liquid crystal display viewer on the rear of the camera (the most horrible practice EVER), brace the camera against your forehead and frame the photograph with your camera’s viewfinder.

It’s also possible to brace the upper body through leaning alongside a partition or perhaps a tree.

Pressing the shutter’s release overly fast could pull the camera towards the side or downward. Visualize it just like the soft squeeze of a trigger in firing a rifle; gently squeeze the shutter’s release in a single steady motion. They don’t call it “shooting” an image for no good reason!

Otherwise entirely eradicate the issue of camera shake by working with a tripod.

3. Move Closer To Your Subject

One distinction regarding “snapshots” and genuinely magnificent photographs may be the composition of the photograph.

Unless you are photographing a panoramic, outdoor landscape, it is possible to perk up most pictures merely through moving nearer to the subject.

Based upon the situation, you’ll be able to actually get nearer to your subject, or else use the zoom option on the camera (or lens) for an identical outcome.

Aim to get close enough to the subject matter so you can eliminate most of the backdrop. Controlling the photo backdrop can make a major difference. Fill the frame with your “star!” You’ll be happy with the improvement

4. The Portrait Backdrop – The Experts Undisclosed Weapon

For the most immediate and dramatic improvement to the photos – get some pro Studio Backdrop.

They’re simple to put together, cost no more than pennies on the dollar over buying them and will give your images a refined, studio look. A good studio backdrop is a missing link for most novice photo shooters.

You’ll want some “Old Masters” design studio backdrop as well as a pure white plus a pure black.
Celestron and ;s SkyMaster Series of large aperture binoculars are a phenomenal value for high performance binoculars ideal for astronomical viewing or for terrestrial (land) use – especially over long distances. Each SkyMaster model features high quality BAK-4 prisms and multi-coated optics for enhanced contrast. Celestron has designed and engineered the larger SkyMaster models to meet the special demands of extended astronomical or terrestrial viewing sessions. The 15×70 version is one of the most popular models in the series. It offers serious large aperture light gathering in an affordable and reasonably lightweight configuration.Binoculars come in a wide range of shapes and sizes these days, and an even wider range of prices. It’s easy to spend less than 0 or more than 0 for what may appear to be, at least outwardly, comparable models. While they may look the same, they are probably quite different on the inside. Recently, the binocular market has seen a flood of giant bino

Question by kubasz: How do you attach a tripod to a Canon 2400 Gadget Bag?
The straps on the bottom of the bag are supposed to be used to hold a tripod. Nevertheless I couldn’t find out how you are supposed to place the tripod.

Best answer:

Answer by j_acuff
Your tripod may not fit. Which tripod do you have. Loosen the straps as loose as they will go and try to put your tripod around them. Then try to tighten them. I use some larger/sturdier tripods by Bogen/Manfrotto and Gitzo. The don’t usually work well with gadget bags. The cheap or less tripods usually attach with plenty of room.

Give your answer to this question below!
