How do I connect the converter box to an analog VCR and then to a HDTV?

Posted by on Thursday, 20 May, 2010

After connecting the converter box to my analog VCR and then the VCR to my HDTV the stations come in fine while using VCR mode. However, when I turn off the VCR and go to watch my HDTV I can’t get a signal. I have to attach the antenna lead directly to the TV to be able to watch it. How do I connect everything up and still be able to watch HDTV without having to connect and disconnect the antenna lead each time? Also how would I record a program on the VCR and watch another program on the HDTV?
